RTARDBOX your name says it all. I live in the San Gabriel Valley (Section of LA County) and we have been slammed with some severe storms. Most streets are up to the sidewalk in water, high winds, mild tornados, mudslides, hail, and everything else that comes with this weather. Something were not used to and something were not made for. For all you criticizing Californians about our weather, try standing when the ground shakes below you and see how we laugh at you.
1000ft waves? some people have been way too much credit into what they see in movies. probably the most devastating wave in recorded history was a couple hundred feet (200ft) if not less.
i live in socal now but i used to be from the east coast and i have to tell u...LOL...this makes me laugh...i heard a weatherman referring to this storm as "EPIC"...really? I barely got wet the past 3 days...how is this EPIC?
there's barely a drop in a bucket....EPIC?
try snow storms and hurricanes...that's EPIC...get over it socal...this is a drizzle !!!
Yeah youre obviously not from socal hd883low17. We rarely ever see storms like this in socal. I mean I dont think I have EVER heard of tornado warnings in socal before!? Its a very big deal to us whether its laughable to you we definitely arent used to weather. I recently moved up to the high sierras so im enjoying the snow that I am definitely not used to :-)
It is Epic for So Cal. This is a desert. We dont see rain for 9 months and then got slammed. I lived in Seattle for 13 years and it does not rain like this. Every corner of the U.S. is different. What is mellow for another, is severe to another. We dont live where there are snow storms or hurricanes, that is why we live in Calif. signed: a grateful California native born.
chris we all love you man, but you don't live in california anymore, at least if you do i'll eat your soul for not telling me you moved back here anyway its true what you said one thing is harsher to another, and i guarentee you that some people laugh at us while we run and hide.
@hd883low17 I hate to burst your bubble, but we Californians aren't used to this sort of weather. We don't get snowstorms, hurricanes, or tornadoes, so when this sort of thing hits us it is EPIC. We're not all from the east coast like you are, so don't go criticizing us for something we don't often get.
Aren't you the super-tough-east-coaster with all of your snow storms and hurricanes!!! Why don't you go back to the east coast and get lost in a blizzard.
Not smart to drive into floodwaters as I know what can happen! I was lucky last year cause I did not know the depth of the water in drove through it making a bad judgement call!
But I have seen your videos before and they are great so keep up the good work!
I loved it when that happend, I love storms like these

For us in So Cal, this is not usual. To even see rain could be considered epic.

Good video but i just want to say something to the people that see this, what is happening at 1:30 is not safe and should not be done.
