I have used this machine hundreds of times on hundreds of people, with feet in, without feet in, with plastic liner, without plastic liner. The water always turns orange as there are minerals in the water and the array is pulling them out. Without feet, that's all you get. With feet, the water always corresponds to whatever health issues a person has, and this has been verified by other more comprehensive health tests. You people are brainwashed into believing that anything nonmedical is a hoax!
Saying that you can't detox your body from "wrong living" is like saying you can't empty the garbage that you accumulate in your home! I think a better test for this is to run it without anything in the water!
I think this is ridiculous. I am a Naturopathic Doctor and I use a machine such as this all the time with great results. I encourage my clients to do their own research. However, having someone like you put down a product that you know nothing about is disgraceful. Don't say it's impossible for anything this gunky to come out of the human skin. I have seen parasites crawling out of skin and eyes. Do your research people.
Where's your degree from? How many years of study do you have? Because I can not believe anyone with a real medical background would defend this placebo device. Are you sure you didn't mean to say you're a homeopathic doctor?
Parasites are completely different from the "ion discharge" this device claims to extract.
I'm not a doctor, but I am an engineer and I apparently understand electrical conduction and metal ion dispersion better than you. Oops.
You never once explained the negative and positive out put with this device and how it attracts the toxic build up in the human body. There for I'm not totally convinced that you have done your full study on this technology. Also did you add the salt before the machine was turned on?
Nothing to explain. The device produces placebo benefits at best. The device placed in the water contains BOTH the anode and cathode. Energy conducts across the shortest distance it can find. The fact that all the crap that is in the water originates from the device itself demonstrates there is nothing more than some simple electrolysis of the metal plates inside the submerged device. The unit is a sham and the salesmen are criminal con artists.
@Hardwyre I see it first time and I thought it might work but... Why the heck electrodes are in the same box. I understand that If you have two containers one positive and one negative in which you keep your feet then it could work otherwise I am skeptical sorry.
It is physically impossible for anything this gunky to come out of the human skin. The skin has many many levels and some on a very small molecular structure. People are still bowled over by things they can't understand. $1,000 for a nice looking gizmo! Fool and his money are soon parted. I feel so sorry for cancer patients who realise far too late that it truly was a scam and then they die due to shunning true therapies. Thanks for posting the video!
@gracefulangels Yes, many are gullible, but to place western medicine above natural healing only indicates your ignorance. When was the last time you had a movement after every meal as you did as a baby? THAT'S natural, pills, surgeries and your mindset are NOT. I wish you health as I doubt you'll be welcoming to some case study reader cutting out your organs! It sounds like you need a colonic and even an ionic foot bath yourself to clear your head.
I have a foot detox bath it turns different colors for every person....one thing I do know is we use distilled water which means nothing is in the water other than good old H20 i distill it myself so I am positive it is actually distilled. another thing if this ionizer has been used before you will see left over residue in a fresh foot bath also a carrot has carotene, dietary fiber antioxidants and good old minerals so really i dont think its a good way to prove all baths are a hoax
I had a demonstration about 9 years ago.I already had my doubts then. thing that is put into the water, is made of different metals in it, copper , zinc ,iron etc, separated by plastic. this is basic electrolysis, folks. the white is from zinc, orange, red from iron, green from copper etc. It has little to do with your feet or body, the colors and reactions are simple electrolysis when put DC current on different metals in salty water...
MAYBE it has SOME effect on your body, but not much..
Use pure distilled water with the recommended amount of PURE salt (NaCl) and see what happens. A controlled study with laboratory analysis of the water afterwards will reveal the truth. I suspect it would easily be proven as a fraud.
These things are utter BS.. anyone who has ever taken a HS chemistry course will tell you that ionic electrolysis cannot leach toxins out through someones skin.. and even if it could, how could it differentiate what a "toxin" is?
I do these foot detoxes to people and myself all the time and the water always turns black and green, then there are black and green chunks sitting in the bottom. Along with red flecks. There are also orange bubbles that form ontop I have also done the detox bath without anything in it at all and it turns orange and that is it. That proves that everything that is in it comes from a persons body.
And a inorganic carrot is a carrot that has been grown with pesticides and/or artificial fertalizers
I've had this done twice, free add-on to my spa package. Both times, my water and everyone else's turned orange. I noticed no effects.
I just don't understand why there's no clinical research to be found. How difficult is it for a lab to just test the water after cleanses and state what's in it???
with all electronic devices, from cell phones, mp3 players, computers, and yes, detox machines...
there are alot of fakes. You can get an Mp3 player from Future shop for $300. or something that LOOKS just like it, from the Dollarstore...but it won;t work as good.
When we were looking for one of these for our clinic, it took SIX MONTHS to find a REAL ONE.
MOST of them were cheap knock-offs, in EXACTLY the same housing...but I promise you, they DID not do the job.
I don't think people understand what these units actually do. Yes, there is a colour change that can also take place without the feet being in the water (because of the chemical reaction between the salt and water and minerals/metals in the water) BUT THE MAIN GOAL of this machine is to stimulate your body to perform a self detoxification process, which then allows our body to function properly and heal, caused by the IONIZATION, OSMOSIS, AND ELECTROLYSIS being stimulated by the machine.
Yea, my wife and got taken for $40.00 at the Calif Mid State Fair. They were also selling the unit for $1000.00, but we passed on the purchase. It amazes me that they can look you straight in the eye and lie; what can ya say, it's a carnival...
Thanks again for the info- good of you to take the time to warn others.
@mwillh I almost got ripped at the Cal State Fair as well, but being the tight wad I am I passed and googled the machine up on my phone and found out the hoax... thought about confronting the booth operators, but ended up going to a concert instead.
Me and my father just had one done today and both our foot baths looked very different to each others. His foot bath actually had oil floating on top of the water and mine...gross warning...actually had little parasites...gross I know...but cool if you think about it.
i bought one of these on Ebay for 130.00. i will research some "reasearch companies" and see what i find on these....maybe its the "organic" in the organic carrot ?? . maybe its the "tainted" soil in which you planted? Hmmm..WE MAY NEVER KNOW!! lol
People are basically paying money for placebo - which I have no problem with, because there is substantial evidence that placebo can make someone feel better. As long as it's not harmful, I'd say in some cases, it's even worth it for the patient to pay for that "feel better" placebo feeling. However, with that said, I'll still call it for what it is - it's not actually "detox", good old chemistry shows you it's just a simple reaction for rust.
I will delete my comment about it being a placebo effect if anyone can point to a blind study that test both the water and the patient before and after treatments. I feel great after a hot shower.
The many people that say this type of treatment is beneficial truly believe it helps. Has anyone ever heard of "placebo"? It just shows that the mind can make one feel well just as it can make you sick. Dr.s have made many patients feel great by giving them sugar pills and they truly do feel great after taking them.
So let me just say this, I just had one of these ionic detox's done today & honestly I believe it works. The lady that owned the place I went to was saying that the orange color isn't toxins its just what happens to the water with the plates in it. It's the nasty sluge stuff that floats at the top that is the toxins & let me tell you the stuff you see in this video pardon my language isn't shit compared to what I had in mine. Woah buddy is was gross. Do one for yourself and be your own judge.
One final word to all the others who are more than willing to share their ignorance. If you read down the list of comments below you will find that their are actually quite a few people who have tried it & found it to be beneficial. So if someone has to chose to believe the testimony of those who have tried it and found it to be beneficial & all the trained medical personel supporting it, versus someone who is speaking out of ignorance, condemning it, who should they believe? Need help?
Again someone who probably hasn't tried it, has no background in medicine or helping people with medical problems, has judged the ion foot spa treatments. Chiropractors, naturopaths, massage therapists & other trained personel say this treatment helps people with a wide range of problems. Plus my own experiences & those of 100's of clients telling me how much better they and their relatives (some have bought units to use at home with relatives & friends) feel after the treatments.
One of the best ways to find out if this is a hoax or not is to try it for yourself. Anyone who would condemn something based on someonelse's sayso when it is helping so many people aren't really saying a lot about their I.Q.. I know it works for me (helps decrease my arthritis pain and stiffness) and I have seen it work for my clients, to whom I have given thousands of treatments. It is also being recommended by chiropractors and naturopaths, all highly trained medical personal..
@Watchman4U1 First of chiropractors and naturopaths are NOT highly trained and they most certainly are not trained in medicine. These detox foot baths are hoaxs. there is no science that supports any of the claims the hawkers of these snake oil machines are making. How much do you profit from the sale of this BS ? How can you live with yourself if you seperate the ill and the uneducated from their money ? In a ddifferent culture they would cut off your hands.
I know a woman that is in her early 70s and she smokes all day and drinks a case of Pepsi a day. She went to do one of these foot bath therapies at a clinic. She was unable to finish doing it because it made her so ill . According to her because she was sooo toxic.
This is the BIGGEST scam out there. The people that sell this SNAKE OIL BULLSH*T procedure or the machine should be jailed. This is absolute FRAUD. If anyone offers you the procedure or tries to sell you one of these machines...RUN! They are stealing your money....
Google (optical disease transmission Gurvitsch quartz 1920 glass)
Experiments by biologists in the USSR indicated that disease could be induced optically. Recently a man named Tom Bearden & others have speculated that the mechanism of action of the Bordeaux machine, Google (Antoine Priore machine cancer plasma microwave) are to use reflected phase conjugate waves from the disease mirrored by the plasma to cancel disease. Only if E=mc2 resolves forms of matter by respective energy frequencies.
I have to ask you, how do you feel about chiropractic? I used to go to a NSA chiropractor (used light touches on specific points) and then one who used the impulse "gun" (a gun like instrument that pulsed at a specific rate). I had great results with both, but because of all this magnetic bracelet bullshit and dirty feet ionization I'm starting to question everything.
I have a feeling that if you test the water itself with out anything you would get the same result; the water changing color etc. Why not use filtered and PH 10+ water and see if you get the same result. I feel that the water would reveal metals, other cemicals and toxis we can't see. Then tell me what you get.
I once soaked my feet in one of these positive and negative charged foot baths while strumming an acoustic guitar, but as the ions surged through my body it sounded like an electric guitar. Rock on!
You tested this on a CARROT and not a human being?
I don't know your educational background, but wouldn't it be smarter to just test this on a friend or someone you can pay $10 to stay there for a video and get some data?
@nybxcrotona: this guy is trying to show you that it is a scam because you dont need a human being in the equation to "pull toxins" out of the body. the carrot in the foot bath would not have those "toxins" being claimed to be sucked out of the body.
Somebody at a fair was advertising a detox foot bath. She advertised $20 for a 30 minute session, but seeing as how I was about to move on to the next booth, she offered a treatment for free. I immediately noticed the color of the water was NOT coming from my feet. I find it funny how a lady sitting next to me at the time had the same colored water as I did. I did feel "better" after the treatment was done, but that was because I was walking in a mall all day Black Friday and rested for 30 min.
Have you tried testing something else that's organic that isn't full of beta carotene? I may be completely ignorant on this subject but it seems to me that testing something that naturally gives off a lot of color and is an organic carbon form of life, i.e. will shed cells, may not be the fairest form of testing.
Um, so the "toxins" come from the array itself instead of out of the carrot? The array, which is simply an electrical/vibrational device, somehow transfers the "toxins" through the velcro band, translated from analog to digital, and then back again?
Scientific tests have found that urea and creatinine have never been found within the water of the ion foot bath, proving that ion foot baths do not have a detoxifying effect on the human body. The ion foot bath has no more benefits to consumers than that of a regular foot bath..
The water corrodes the iron electrons in the ion foot bath, causing the water to turn colors such as brown or yellow. These colors are used to diagnose the patient with a variety of medical ailments, but the color of the water is really only determined by the amount of salt in the water. The ion foot bath will change colors even when there are no feet in the bath.
THERE IS STUFF IN THE FILTER SYSTEM THAT POURS INTO THE WATER AS IT RUNS. I HAVE SEEN THIS WHEN IT WASNT HOOKED UP TO ANYTHING AND THE WATER SYSTEM STILL HAS CRAP COMING OUT OF IT, BOGUS BOGUS BOGUS!
there are tons of toxins in everything we eat touch and drink so if a machine is made to remove those certain things from our bodies which get the toxins from the earth, why wouldn't it work on a carrot?! it helped me and i have observed many peoples detoxes and everyone's was different. Especially the ones who had parasites. you haven't seen a detox til you've seen one with worms in it.
i dont get it, the water was orange. the carrot probably did have orange colored toxins in it. ive done a foot bath and the water was way darker after 24 minutes.
@Bradwick1 The water turns dark with or without your foot. It is bogus. If you watch the video, you see that the color is coming out of the device, not the carrot! The device reacts with the water to create the "toxins" that you are supposed to be believe came out of your body.
@ReuWil Are there any chemical tests of the "toxins" that can be done? wouldnt there be something that would react a certain way if it was just the metal plates dissolving? A Visual test is not a chemical test of the water after having both feet in. skin is a little different than carrots. Could be pulling toxins out and in the process disintegrating. Using feet i notice a dark sludge that is not present with no feet. dont you feel any different after using it?
Are there any chemical tests of the "toxins" that can be done? wouldnt there be something that would react a certain way if it was just the metal plates dissolving? A Visual test is not a chemical test of the water after having both feet in. even tho its brown on its own we dont know if its all from the disks. skin is a little different than carrots. Could be pulling toxins out and in the process disintegrating. dont you feel any different after using it?
Dr. Freddie Woods D.C(CHIROPRACTOR), I.H.S (THat's right another doctorate), Nutritionist, and A.R.T(worked with the USA Olympic teams). You are the Hoax. It is scientifically proven. I repeated your study using Distilled h2O and another footbath unit. I did a Gas cromatograph of the H2O before and after. Before pure H2O, after H2O with Chloraphill (what plants use for Oxygen carrying capacity), Beta Carotine (main Nutrient in Carrot, proven to be great for health, Clorine, trace amounts
How about not putting a carrot in the water next time idiot. That is why the water is changing color. If you want to truly say this is a hoax, just run the machine without anything in the water.
So the purpose of having the carrot as the control mean that you still have to have something in the box to test it, still. Interesting and yet nasty....Looks like the metal thing spawned some tadpoles or you know what....
I am VERY skeptical and had done research and went into this a believer in a HOAX>>>>however, today I went for a foot detox due to my cervical region lymph nodes being swollen, I suspected the mercury filling in my mouth was poisoning my system, since my tooth cracked off and exposed the filling. Immediately after the machine being turned on, I felt the current in my toes and within 5 min started to get a bit nauseated, and felt more sick as the time went on.
I would never buy such a device even before watching this video because the orange stuff is coming from the electric device in the water and not from the carrot.
and its evenly around the electrode device.. nah; I would be suspicious (and I am already cheap and greedy LOL)
@redbulllrb3, you do know this is a scam right? it is just a chemical reaction that turns the pad or water brown. This does nothing to remove toxins from the body..
In regards to the water, it uses electrical currents to oxidize the minerals in the salt solution... IE it creates rust... the adhesive foot pad turns brown from the adhesive glue and some dead skin cells on the pad itself...
has the water been tested to find out what it is? I had this done and my impression was that it was fake but it really made me curious what changed the water color.
nice video if that much toxin was released you would die. i was a massage therapist for a while and if you can make someone sick just by deep tissue massage as it releases build up in muscles
That carrot was a very sick, achy, congested veggie. Thank goodness you were so kind as to cleanse all its poisoned organs! Maybe now it can walk w/out joint pain ;}
If the substance is coming from the carrot , then it appears that the ionic bath is working. If you really want to test if anything is coming out or not, then test it without anything placed in the water, also do a comparison with between regular tap water and distilled and commercially filtered water. Then after you tried a real scientific experiment perhaps you'll have some validity.
At least document your intenal conditions with blood tests before removing the evidence of toxins. I never would do this foot detox and it was offered.
I have been using Ion Foot Spa units on my clients (I 've been an RMT since 1992) and myself and have seen great results. People suffering from fibromyalgia, arthritis, gout, migraine headaches, etc. have all found that they got relief by using the Ion Spa foot baths. It also helps to increase the metabolic rate improving weight loss. It puts the body pH into the alkaline range, a key to help prevent cancer and many other diseases. Space does not permit me to explain all benefits.
I purchased this same machine and My son put plastic bags on his feet and the water did the same thing, there was nothing coming from him, his explaination was that this crud is in our water and the ionazation of the water was separating the crud from the water. I really believe that is what is happining
actually to tell u the truth this actually does work but not to the extent we want, our body can detoxify its automatic but this helps draw the toxins from being stuck on ur skin and glands and the brownish color is because of the hydrogen splitting from the oxygen element in water as low levels of electricity puts abck the ions and hydrogen is a brownish color
I am stunned at the comments on here. You can clearly SEE the stuff pouring out from the disk and not the carrot!! Yet people still defend the device is working as advertised?? My Lord. Look at that bottle filled with gunk... from a celery stalk???? PLEASE give me a break. That celery would have to look like a brown turd to pull that much gunk. This thing is bogus science plain and simple.
I got a similar reaction by passing electricity through a jar of salt water when I was in the seventh grade. The fact that all the "toxins" appeared out of the electrode and not the carrot tells me that the color change is due to a process called electrolysis. When you pass electricity through salt water, the salt and water both break down into their respective elements. These elements then react with the metal in the electrode, thereby producing the yellow color.
I have a similar machine and did test it in water alone. The water turned a slight tinge of yellow/orange but NOTHING like what it does when feet are in there! I would like to try it with RO water.
This video doesn't explain that the results of the ion foot bath will be affected by the water used. Obviously, if the water used was already full of iron, lime, chlorine, etc. it will turn colours by itself, giving you a 'false positive'. By ignoring this important factor you come up with incorrect conclusions. My wife & I, both health care providers, have used foot bath machines for 2 years now on ourselves and our clients. We use purified water and know these machines work.
once you stick your filty feet in the distilled water it is no longer distilled... i never even graduated from high school and i know this.your an idiot.
Obviously you haven't done any research on the scientific proof proving that you not have toxins released through your feet due to the use of this contraption. All the proof out there against it's detoxifying effects are controlled and non-biased. Who would want to prove that a detoxifying machine doesn't work? ... and how did you get so duped into believing it does. Just a little research... please!
They do not work, simple as that. Any benefit derived by them is placebo at best. The vast majority of toxins in the body are electro-neutral, clear, and unable to be passed through the skin.
About the ONLY thing is might do is aid in the osmosis of excess water in shallow tissues.
I just have one question; Why do the results differ from person to person? When I did the foot cleanse the water was almost black but when my Dad did the same cleanse his bucket of supposed "toxins" was dark but not as bad. Also, the electrolosis causing the array to rust makes sense. But isn't it possible that some of the material in the water came from the body?
This person claims that congestion out of his lungs actually passed through feet skin....? it is an snake oil sales. You have to have a very strong inclination to fantasy in order to subject your reason to this. How does electrical current knows the difference between "bad" and "good" molecules in your body based on their "charge"? This is your kidney's job! One has to be ignorant of basic physiology and chemistry to buy into this! Also body discards toxins through sweat which has no color!
They just discovered that the Moon is made of cheese - I am selling paper shares of a Moon cheese mine that I would like to develop. Can I get your information so that I can send you a prospectus?
You said easy question it is the arrays corroding causing the extra weight. Excuse the difference here. By definition the corroding first in such quick time is not correct. Corrosion takes time and you have answered a questioned that not even the best chemist could answer. Their end all evaluation was the weight could have only come from the participating body. Corrosion does not increase the weight .
Funny things is there exist the same liars on this page saying there isnt any toxins in the water after doing lab test. Well folks Just adding feet to the water will cause toxins from sweat, nails and other feet toxins to enter into the water. The labs results on this page do not show them so are not real. Just made up stories we have seen live parasites swimming in the water explain this one bitter person that can even remember what was said when you had the detox and bought the unit.
continued from Dr. Val -- I have done several hundred sessions on clients in the past few years and they keep coming back for more because pain is going away -- people can breathe better and sleep better & on and on. If you had experience doing this on people you would understand more. THERE IS A VERY CLEAR BODY FLUID SMELL THAT COMES OUT when you do these on people -- explain that one! My clients are NOT crazy -- they are telling me how much better they feel. continued.....
you are very correct. We have weighed the water before and after and found a significant difference in the water. What could that extra weight be if not toxins and other impurities discharged by the user.
omg you moron . you talk about uneducated people and then say youve been a salesman for 25 yrs and then paid a thousand dollars for that ? you may have passed grammer but obviously FAILED MATH . but on a serious note the body can cleanse itself if done properly of many toxins with the proper procedures . and good luck on getting your money back .
1lad you obviously understood my point then , so i neeed not try and impress you or anyone wiith perfect spelling . sure i could take my time and spell better but the issue isnt about my spelling it was about a poor product , btw while they were EDUCATING you did they teach you to use 3 periods at the end of a paragraph ?
well i know if you soak in a tub of scolding hot water fer 20 to 40 minutes you would be amazed how much sweat and weight you looose through water . but common sense would tell anyone if that much junk came out of them all at once they would have to either die or go into instant shock ........ try soaking several days a week if your overweight yioulll never find an easier way to looose weight also
What a nice way to interact with your viewers, especially one who was, in effect, agreeing with the message of your video.
By the way, the correct spelling is "scald" so in your haste to be an ass to your own viewer, you were wrong as well. Also, if you really want to humiliate people for their use of conventions, the first letter of a sentence is usually capitalized as well (see your last sentence quoted above).
@1ladolcevita1 Good video. Grammar Nazi!!! Punk bitch!!! Fuck your public education. Stop being a pussy with words and get over it gramps. Instead of a being a dick to the person who commented above about a few spelling mistakes. So let's see how I can anyyyo yo wit my hooribllle speelingg shite biatttchh cccaaaa fadf
See? People make mistakes when they type. Heres some # 21
Bah Bah.... that probaly annoys the shit out of you? Good. Intelligence comes in many different forms.
The detox machine you have is very poor quality the new ones do not do that. Without feet in the tub they turn orange but the greens and oils from a proper detox to not occur. To see a comparison detox with a proper system go to my channel. Also a proper detox has a putrid smell that does not occur otherwise.
"Also a proper detox has a putrid smell that does not occur otherwise." That putrid smell to which you refer is the BS that is at the heart of all this snake oil.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Umm Excuse me you can just keep ur negative toughs to you r self ok. Try it before you judge ok ???? i DO them as well and i believe as well as many people so done agree just dont be so negative people have a right to believe
I have just as much of a right to share my thoughts as you did yours. But it is SCIENTIFIC FACT these machines are bogus. How do you sleep at night ripping people off.
@Candyann22 Based on the fact that after 7 years of trying to get rid of my adult acne, my skin is now amazingly clear and healed after two months of ionic footbath sessions. I am also less tired and much more focused. That's proof enough for me. If you've never tried it for a few sessions, you simply cannot claim it does not work.
I saw this unit tested on my girlfriend at the L.A. County Fair last night. They told my girlfriend she was highly toxic and infested with a non-specific parasite. I told her it was electrolysis and that the coil was rusting. The workers hated me. They should be arrested for this scam.
It is no surprise that people sell this shit. What surprises me is how many people are so amazingly damn stupid as to fall for it and defend it despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.
We make fun of 3rd world countries for falling for Voodoo and the like, yet, here we are...foot Voodoo.
Unfortunately voodoo reigns in many areas of our sickness industry. there's flu voodoo...cancer voodoo, diabetes voodoo osteoporosis, arthritis, GERD, stints, and ADD voodoo the list is endless for ways to scam folks out of their hard earned money. "Just come to us, give us your money and take this purple pill or whatever, and you'll be fine." We lead the entire planet in health schemes, it has ruined our country and made us the sickest nation in the history of mankind.
@1ladolcevita1 The government is more guilty of this nonsense than any foot bath scam artist will ever be.
I do believe these foot baths could potentially have very powerful benefits but not for any of the reasons these con artists claim. It has nothing to do with "toxins" being pulled from your body into the water and everything to do with the fact that many of these things generate huge amounts of negative ions. Negative ion exposure has been shown to have many great health benefits.
Also, Jakesdoc, please do not curse on my video pages...if you are some sort of doc. even for your profession, it is demeaning. It has been rightly said that one has a greater sense of intellectual degredation after a conversation with a doctor than with any other human experience...thanks for proving that point with your gutter vocabulary.
detox foot baths are the best. i do them all the time.

@klslifeconcepts

Well immediately the stuff is coming out of the device, not the carrot.

I have a foot detox bath it turns different colors for every person....one thing I do know is we use distilled water which means nothing is in the water other than good old H20 i distill it myself so I am positive it is actually distilled. another thing if this ionizer has been used before you will see left over residue in a fresh foot bath also a carrot has carotene, dietary fiber antioxidants and good old minerals so really i dont think its a good way to prove all baths are a hoax
sararrific 3 months ago

He said its an ORGANIC carrot. Not inorganic. So, no pesticides, etc. were used to grow the carrot.
SeaWolfe59 4 months ago
These things are utter BS.. anyone who has ever taken a HS chemistry course will tell you that ionic electrolysis cannot leach toxins out through someones skin.. and even if it could, how could it differentiate what a "toxin" is?
PhatFarm60 4 months ago
I do these foot detoxes to people and myself all the time and the water always turns black and green, then there are black and green chunks sitting in the bottom. Along with red flecks. There are also orange bubbles that form ontop I have also done the detox bath without anything in it at all and it turns orange and that is it. That proves that everything that is in it comes from a persons body.
And a inorganic carrot is a carrot that has been grown with pesticides and/or artificial fertalizers
Jbozz21 4 months ago
Can someone please define an "inorganic carrot"?
Kenzofeis 4 months ago
I've had this done twice, free add-on to my spa package. Both times, my water and everyone else's turned orange. I noticed no effects.
I just don't understand why there's no clinical research to be found. How difficult is it for a lab to just test the water after cleanses and state what's in it???
akerscarter 5 months ago
Dear friend...
(con't)
Eventually we found a REGISTERED medical supplier. But MOST of what we saw, and tested were ineffective.
In three years of clinical trial we have found our machine to be effective....
and most importantly....YES...THE WATER RUNS CLEAR
after 10 sessions, in 14 days. Tested on two different people, at different times.
I am sorry that you may have bought one of the fakes..your video helped us at the time were were researching these devices...
so thank you 4 that.
christineannfenton 5 months ago
Dear friend...
with all electronic devices, from cell phones, mp3 players, computers, and yes, detox machines...
there are alot of fakes. You can get an Mp3 player from Future shop for $300. or something that LOOKS just like it, from the Dollarstore...but it won;t work as good.
When we were looking for one of these for our clinic, it took SIX MONTHS to find a REAL ONE.
MOST of them were cheap knock-offs, in EXACTLY the same housing...but I promise you, they DID not do the job.
christineannfenton 5 months ago
I don't think people understand what these units actually do. Yes, there is a colour change that can also take place without the feet being in the water (because of the chemical reaction between the salt and water and minerals/metals in the water) BUT THE MAIN GOAL of this machine is to stimulate your body to perform a self detoxification process, which then allows our body to function properly and heal, caused by the IONIZATION, OSMOSIS, AND ELECTROLYSIS being stimulated by the machine.
jennabennabear 5 months ago
Yea, my wife and got taken for $40.00 at the Calif Mid State Fair. They were also selling the unit for $1000.00, but we passed on the purchase. It amazes me that they can look you straight in the eye and lie; what can ya say, it's a carnival...
Thanks again for the info- good of you to take the time to warn others.

@mwillh I almost got ripped at the Cal State Fair as well, but being the tight wad I am I passed and googled the machine up on my phone and found out the hoax... thought about confronting the booth operators, but ended up going to a concert instead.

Kandeeland1 7 months ago
You should try this test again with something green for example a stick of celery or some brocoli to see if the water turns green
Imho a carrot is too close to the colour you normally see in these ionic foot baths
If the water turns green instead of light brown that would prove it is doing something

The many people that say this type of treatment is beneficial truly believe it helps. Has anyone ever heard of "placebo"? It just shows that the mind can make one feel well just as it can make you sick. Dr.s have made many patients feel great by giving them sugar pills and they truly do feel great after taking them.
spicyinmyeyesdave 8 months ago

Need help?
Watchman4U1 9 months ago
Again someone who probably hasn't tried it, has no background in medicine or helping people with medical problems, has judged the ion foot spa treatments. Chiropractors, naturopaths, massage therapists & other trained personel say this treatment helps people with a wide range of problems. Plus my own experiences & those of 100's of clients telling me how much better they and their relatives (some have bought units to use at home with relatives & friends) feel after the treatments.
Watchman4U1 9 months ago
Will people please vote down Watchman4U1's bullshit comments down so it is no longer in the "Top Comments".
Hardwyre 9 months ago
One of the best ways to find out if this is a hoax or not is to try it for yourself. Anyone who would condemn something based on someonelse's sayso when it is helping so many people aren't really saying a lot about their I.Q.. I know it works for me (helps decrease my arthritis pain and stiffness) and I have seen it work for my clients, to whom I have given thousands of treatments. It is also being recommended by chiropractors and naturopaths, all highly trained medical personal..
Watchman4U1 9 months ago
@Watchman4U1 First of chiropractors and naturopaths are NOT highly trained and they most certainly are not trained in medicine. These detox foot baths are hoaxs. there is no science that supports any of the claims the hawkers of these snake oil machines are making. How much do you profit from the sale of this BS ? Somebody at a fair was advertising a detox foot bath. She advertised $20 for a 30 minute session, but seeing as how I was about to move on to the next booth, she offered a treatment for free. I immediately noticed the color of the water was NOT coming from my feet. I find it funny how a lady sitting next to me at the time had the same colored water as I did. I did feel "better" after the treatment was done, but that was because I was walking in a mall all day Black Friday and rested for 30 min.
annie4horses 1 year ago
Have you tried testing something else that's organic that isn't full of beta carotene? I may be completely ignorant on this subject but it seems to me that testing something that naturally gives off a lot of color and is an organic carbon form of life, i.e. will shed cells, may not be the fairest form of testing.

Um, so the "toxins" come from the array itself instead of out of the carrot? The array, which is simply an electrical/vibrational device, somehow transfers the "toxins" through the velcro band, translated from analog to digital, and then back again?

The water corrodes the iron electrons in the ion foot bath, causing the water to turn colors such as brown or yellow. These colors are used to diagnose the patient with a variety of medical ailments, but the color of the water is really only determined by the amount of salt in the water. The ion foot bath will change colors even when there are no feet in the bath.

@Bradwick1 The water turns dark with or without your foot. It is bogus. If you watch the video, you see that the color is coming out of the device, not the carrot! The device reacts with the water to create the "toxins" that you are supposed to be believe came out of your body.

SimplyConnie 1 year ago 2
actually to tell u the truth this actually does work but not to the extent we want, our body can detoxify its automatic but this helps draw the toxins from being stuck on ur skin and glands and the brownish color is because of the hydrogen splitting from the oxygen element in water as low levels of electricity puts abck the ions and hydrogen is a brownish color

They do not work, simple as that. Any benefit derived by them is placebo at best. The vast majority of toxins in the body are electro-neutral, clear, and unable to be passed through the skin.
About the ONLY thing is might do is aid in the osmosis of excess water in shallow tissues.
Hardwyre 9 months ago

Pretty easy question. The extra weight comes from the electrodes, which corrode durring the process.
Repeat the process with new electrodes without a person putting his feet into the water. You will be able to measure the same weight difference.
Also measure the weight of the electrodes before and after the process.

1lad you obviously understood my point then , so i neeed not try and impress you or anyone wiith perfect spelling . sure i could take my time and spell better but the issue isnt about my spelling it was about a poor product , btw while they were EDUCATING you did they teach you to use 3 periods at the end of a paragraph ?
riff724 2 years ago
well i know if you soak in a tub of scolding hot water fer 20 to 40 minutes you would be amazed how much sweat and weight you looose through water . but common sense would tell anyone if that much junk came out of them all at once they would have to either die or go into instant shock ........ try soaking several days a week if your overweight yioulll never find an easier way to looose weight also
riff724 2 years ago
I've never been scolded by water before...I have been scaulded and it wasn't pleasant. It's lose, not looose.

@1ladolcevita1 "another product of public education..."

@1ladolcevita1 "Scaulded"??? Do you mean 'scalded'? You're just another example of an arrogant prick that tries to talk over everyone else....

The detox machine you have is very poor quality the new ones do not do that. Without feet in the tub they turn orange but the greens and oils from a proper detox to not occur. To see a comparison detox with a proper system go to my channel. Also a proper detox has a putrid smell that does not occur otherwise.
grandriveraquamassag 2 years ago
I saw a brand new one tested and it was as fake as this one in the video. Please, do the simple grade school science and then you will know.
eddybaby58 2 years ago
"Also a proper detox has a putrid smell that does not occur otherwise." That putrid smell to which you refer is the BS that is at the heart of all this snake oil.
es347 2 years ago
Explain the smell for me then please, if it is BS, where does it come from?
grandriveraquamassag 2 years ago
Your machine looks just as hokey, what a fool you are and a theif.

We make fun of 3rd world countries for falling for Voodoo and the like, yet, here we are...foot Voodoo.
jakesdoc 2 years ago 4
Unfortunately voodoo reigns in many areas of our sickness industry. there's flu voodoo...cancer voodoo, diabetes voodoo osteoporosis, arthritis, GERD, stints, and ADD voodoo the list is endless for ways to scam folks out of their hard earned money. "Just come to us, give us your money and take this purple pill or whatever, and you'll be fine." We lead the entire planet in health schemes, it has ruined our country and made us the sickest nation in the history of mankind.

@1ladolcevita1 You can thank Jenny Mccarthy for some of that..
