For a little clarification, a nasty cam doesn't always mean it's fast. However, this one laid down 435 RWHP through the nitrous convertor and a C4 trans on our Mustang Dyno in 100 deg heat at 4200 ft elevation. That's over 500 HP all motor which is plenty with the cage/suspension in this light weight coupe to run low 11's hi 10's all motor. In addition it was set up for the bottle and a 200 shot would put it in the bottom 10's pretty easy! That is a fast street car in anyone's book.

It's a custom stick we developed for the 351 windsor motors. It's a .595/.605 lift with a 1.6 but is incredibly stout in the duration numbers and makes power to 7,000 RPM. Not bad for a streetable Hydraulic Roller set up. Car ran 11.0's at our altitude (4200 ft above sea level) and was designed for nitrous, hence the C-4 and stall covertor set up. On a small 150 shot, low 10's were the norm. Again, not bad for a street/strip ride on pump gas!

It's an early production 351 windsor. 68 If I recall correctly. The older blocks tend to have a higher nickel content making them a bit more durable. In general, a std windsor is pretty safe to 750 HP with good internals. Alot more than it's little bro the 302!

That would be correct sir. Simple as it is, this combo makes 430+ rwhp through a C-4 with a nitrous convertor. It's an easy 11 sec all motor car at our elevation (4200 ft above seal level).
We can build 351's into alot of differnt combo's. This one in particular was $6500 carb to pan. It's a mild 357 inch windsor that makes an easy 500 HP all motor or Naturally Aspirated "NA". We can build them for less or stroke them and make over 600 HP all motor with a nice 408-427 inch set up. This was also a hydraulic roller 7,000 rpm set up for the street. Pump gas and very drivable. windsor refers to the 351 motors. 302's are the smaller deck engines that come stock in the 5.0 cars. The windsor requires a custom swap so you can run the larger displacement 351.
@THRstang 302 is also a windsor as with the 351, we just dont call it 302 windsor cause their is only one kind in america, in austraila there is a 302 cleveland.

Those were only utilized during the build process to avoid damaging the Weld Alumastar 2.0's in matching Copper/Polished finish while working on the car. It now has 28 inch ET Streets out back and MT Skinnies up front on the Alumastars.
Is a stock displacement 351 or .30 over ( 357 ) about the same price to build as a 302 ( 306 )? If so why would you bother with the 302?

I have owned nothing but Fords, but I have never had a desire to put a chevy engine in any of them. If I wanted a Chevy I would build one. Never understood the whole putting a Chevy in a Mustang thing. Just build a Nova or Camaro.

hey dude what ever works if u got a chevy engine just laying arround are you gonna put that in your car or spend the extra money to build an entire new engine.........i might e putting a chevy 327 out of an old impala because its done i dont have the money to go out and buy a brand new or rebuild a junkyard engine....so for me its price free is better than idk a couple of grand

windsor refers to the 351 motors. 302's are the smaller deck engines that come stock in the 5.0 cars. The windsor requires a custom swap so you can run the larger displacement 351.

@THRstang 302 is also a windsor as with the 351, we just dont call it 302 windsor cause their is only one kind in america, in austraila there is a 302 cleveland.

@THRstang Actually windsor is the engine plant in which they were built, the 302's and 351's were both built there, so 5.0's are a 302 windsor.

those rear wheels have the wrong offset,watch for fender interference,also it would look a lot better with wheel in proper position

Those were only utilized during the build process to avoid damaging the Weld Alumastar 2.0's in matching Copper/Polished finish while working on the car. It now has 28 inch ET Streets out back and MT Skinnies up front on the Alumastars.
