  • Do u fish it under the boat or troll it

  • Thanks for making this information available. My videographer will love you for it.

    MrRGWebb

  • I'll beat you with my Ugly Stick!

  • This is old, but St. Croix makes the best rods for Walleye and Bass. Idiots.

  • LOOMIS

  • Shakespear!

  • saai

  • can you let line out quickly or will the 3 way set up tangle? do you let it out as if it were a dipsy diver, slowly let out line?

  • Fishing on Good Level

  • I fish in the cumberland river in TN. and these walleyes would be trophys were to some lakes i have fished at those are average sized walleye.

  • 2:10

It looks like a bass in the front... except really long lol

  • pshhhh you be trollin.

  • goto fishpa.us to see more great videos and find some great fishing products

  • if you all used St. Croix gear, you wouldn't have the arguing problem... ha ha ha, just kidding guys...although EXPENSIVE - They are ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC rods. i gotta say too, that i have used some Berkley Lightning Rods that i think are great too... meaning, you can feel the slightest hit...and, they are pretty cheap in comparison with St. Croix gear.

  • Wow, look at the idiots squabbling like a bunch of old grannies. I use Shimano, Abu Garcia and Quantum. I love all three of them. They all have excellent reels and rods. Which one I use, however, depends entirely on what I am fishing for, and at times, what mood I am in. Saying that someone is retarded just because they do not like the equipment you use, is prejudiced and wrong. I love a lot of brands and as long as it is a quality product, who cares who makes it?

  • how about g-loomis??? they are fairly affordable with the most amazing warrenty

  • ummmmm abu garcia anyone?

  • @gorillaz2424 you must be on the magazine ad band wagon. let me guess you use fram oil filter for your car/truck

  • @xaviervahidy no actually i use Pennzoil

  • your retarded, period...shimano makes some of the best rods and reels in the business...

  • St Croix is tops on rods.. gonna cost ya though.

  • @jacobk11215

    *you're

  • @aslyter45

    *YOU'RE GAY

  • @patty903

thank you for taking the time to make such insightful comments.

  • @jacobk11215

They do....but as far as money goes Abu Garcia is great

  • @jacobk11215 shimano and Rhino.

  • @jacobk11215 best reels yes rods not

  • @jacobk11215 If you knew any better you'd know you could build your own rod that will beat any of those overpriced pieces of work

  • ive used ... night crawlers or minnows suspended ... say on a drop shot rig?

then just vertical jig with that.. works great in lake champlain ... when uve got the patterns down

  • i have never caught a walleye,wat do i use?

  • I use bottom bouncers if you know what those are. If not, they are a lure with a hook and worm you bounce off the bottom trolling. Where in Michigan, I find the most success with that. Then every once in a while in deep weeds, they will hit large white spinners with a gold bail.

  • You use a jig

  • I don't know how to say it in english, but I'm using standard jig/spinning and "the fall method".

A fall method is a kind of heavy jig with kind of "big fly" on it. It's from USA, but polish spiners modificated it long time ago to catch eg. walleyes.

    Cheers

  • jig and a minnow

  • theres only one lure i use and i kick their asses every time...Black Bucktail Jig 1/4 oz.

  • a hook

  • this can be done and works just as good with a bottom bouncer

  • is there walleye in any lakes in tx i dont kno much about walleye im a bass kinda dude so can someone help a angler out?

  • No eyes down that far.

  • Good technique in deeper water. Keeps the bait right in the strike zone. Of course you would use a different approach in weedy areas. Also, I must say the Linders make fishing look too easy as if there is no patience involved.

  • If I only had $15-30 to spend, what lures or soft baits would you guys suggest for purchase? I'm going for mostly bass and panfish. Anything that can catch multiple species actually. Any help?

  • that will but you like 3 or 4 lures

  • a few hooks, and worms

  • Jig Heads and Berkley Power grub are a good combo for $30 for walleye

  • Try a BIG O from cotton cordell, they catch pretty much anything. It's a must have!

  • Senko

  • 3" or 4" senko worms.

  • @asianwannabeamerican Use 6 lb test...buy some bright painted 1/8 ounce jig heads and some brightly colored twister tails....lift rod and drop on a long retrieve...retrieve should take a minute or more....problem solved.

PS plan on retying a lot.

  • could you use this for trout? use smaller weight smaller line in a river and use small count down's?

  • a six foot leader is way too big... how are supposed to net a big one when its still got six feet of room to shake its head and spit out the hooks?

  • lift your pole up and keep tension on the line. but before that make sure you set a long sweeping hookset. when you use heavy weights to get your bait down while trolling you need longer leaders or sometimes the walleye ignore your bait. i catch more walleye with 6 to 8 foot leaders behind heavy bottom bouncers than the same setup with a shorter leader. thats just my 2cents

  • When the walleye are tired, it go to surface. Then the fisherman grab the line and hold it in hes hand and then another guy net the fish

  • now just add a set of pencill plugs in front of that rapala and you got a deadly set up !!!

  • youd think yad get snagged up alot?

  • i have better luck setting my leech down on the bottom floor and just waiting for the walleyes to come eat it, then this technique.

  • theres a time and place for both techniques. when you can determine that you can catch alot of walleye with both techniques when the conditions suit one style over another

  • yea now how about showing soming some tips for finshin in weedy ass water huh? thats all the lake i live by has

  • when there is weed then there is no walleye

  • we sink floating baits w/ a slip sinker similar to the way you rig for catfishing, but just enough weight to sink the bait a few feet (or however deep you wanted to go depending on ammount of weight you use)

  • Nice ty for the tips
