  • Porn is Haram and we do jihad against anyone who uses it.

  • @HABRADASHR

Wow then why does Islam still exist..

After all every men and female lusts...

Same really to those who follow the bible.. if you don't kill directly at the breaking of the first laws.. why are you claiming to follow them?

  • @masticina

Islam is sinful,we must kill anyone who practices it.

  • Why did you have to show a picture of my keyboard at 9:03? Why?

  • Sex within proper bounds has never been a bad thing. You are the one that doesn't get that there really can be no middle ground. We must have strict rules, or we must be free, but soft rules, that is "middle ground", can't be had because of human nature. You almost said as much yourself.

  • awesome content, didnt like some of the pictures of girls as im trying to recover frm sex addiction, thanx 4 vid

  • Humans are drawn to sex, it is preprogrammed

religious people fighting against basic human programmings makes me laugh. I can agree that there is a time for everything that includes not going for the easy route. But religious people.. seem to lack balance here.

Balance is the key no .. abstinence.

Nothing wrong with porn, to much is bad but to much of everything is bad. To little is bad to..just look at the religious people unable to deal with sex.

  • @masticina The makers of this video are not "religious", don’t believe in sin, and don’t want to ban porn. This is an educational for boys ages 10-11, not a sermon. Balance sounds nice, but it may not apply to internet porn use – especially when many boys begin daily porn use before they start masturbating. No other generation was exposed to a delivery system like high speed Internet. Watch yourbrainonporn series for a better understanding of how "playboy" differs from Internet porn

  • @BodyWisdomVideos

Well yes in the past the brown envelope and "wooden box with a lock" but remember where was always the Bathingsuit catalogue.

Yes the internet makes it much easier to get PORN. And even the porn that is.. something I personally wouldn't do in bed.. no! So really the porn that is out there is sometimes indeed something most people not going to do.. I agree in that point.

But the desire, the lust, the understanding... always was there already.

  • @masticina I agree with BWV, this seems not to be a sermon. It is an informative video aimed at informing kids and thus empowering them. That being told, religion falls under the heading of too much is no good just like the rest.

  • thanks this is cool explanation <3

  • Why is this man talking to us like we are ten years of age?

  • @katoness Because this video series is meant for 10 to 11-year old boys, as stated in the above description. If you want something for adults, watch our 6-part series - Your Brain On Porn: Porn Addiction

  • @BodyWisdomVideos ok didn't realize or see. Thanks.

  • @BodyWisdomVideos I am 28 years old and I love this way of learning, I think is acually more effective, thanks a lot for this info and this way of teaching

  • @BodyWisdomVideos

    how times have changed!!

When I was 10-11 years didn't even know what porn was. I didn't have internet and neither did my classmates

  • @katoness It's Little Big Planet.

  • @katoness I don't care if it's Barney or Tinky Winky, this was VERY informative as well as entertaining for me. Often times, the simpler explanation is more effective than the elaborate. ...especially when I'm so deeply addicted. ....Higher reasoning obviously has failed here.....a long....long....time ago.

  • Watching porn makes you a woman

  • Knowledge is power, so share the videos if you belong to forums where they might help others.

  • @BodyWisdomVideos if you made a decent vid I would share it.

  • @movadoband This video is for 10 -11 year old boys. Our two other video series for adults are on our channel and to the right: Porn and Erectile Dysfunction, Your Brain on Porn: Porn Addiction.

  • This video is scientific. And a real antitode to the recovery style approach and Bible Bashing that isn't helpful for a lot of people. I think these ideas really tie in with Allen Carr's smoking philosophy as a way of quitting. ie. where the person using porn feels bad after, but does things to make himself feel better that only keep the problem going.

  • we need to better discipline ourselves and practice self control.

  • amazing . the brain is such a powerfull downfall in our human race

  • lol the narrator sounds like the guy from Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy

  • Right, so if I like something you do not like me liking, I am an old brainless animal?

I understand. I'll be over here in the old, dumb animal corner enjoying my life and ignoring yours... please don't come and join me.

  • @beatdownbob This is all about choices, not about censorship. If you prefer different terminology, read LeDoux's books. He refers to what we call the "old brain" as the "low road," and what we call the "new brain" as the "high road," in part due to brain structure. The first is instinctive and impulsive by whatever label. The second helps us make rational choices on additional considerations.

  • @BodyWisdomVideos "Low Road" sounds so much better then "Old Brain", yes I'll be sure to give this LeDoux fellow some money so he can lecture on how dumb and stupid I am for enjoying things he doesn't want me to enjoy.

  • @beatdownbob touched a nerve there,....bob

  • @beatdownbob erm... books don't hypnotize you, you know... you can do what you like no matter what you might read there or hear here... :) suuuuperlatiiiive conspiration ;) :P

  • @BodyWisdomVideos I don't think there is anything wrong with using the parts god gave me, it feels good for a reason.

  • @movadoband Nor do we see anything wrong with using "your parts". It appears that many young men consider masturbation and porn use to be synonymous. That's a very recent phenomenon. This video series, and the others on our channel, deal with Internet porn use, not masturbation or sex.

  • @movadoband Heroin feels really good as well. Does that mean God wants us addicted to opiates? After all, they are natural too. .....The whole problem is being able to stop. If you can control it, good for you. Me....not so much.

  • @Lengsel7 you are comparing an addictive and often deadly drug to sex, try again.

  • @movadoband Ok......addictive.....sometimes deadly (AIDS, and/or can put one in questionable circumstances)......Yep.....comparison works.

  • @Lengsel7 another folly, no one gets AIDS from masturbating, it's our safest bet for sex these days....wanna try again? I'm trying to be as nice as I can.

  • @movadoband ...."Sex"....you said sex. Just how much do you really know about this addiction? Do you know what goes on in many adult bookstores? Maybe one starts out masturbating alone, but then eventually ends up in one of those places, where they have video arcades, or in a porn theater. And sure that starts out as just more masturbation, but it often leads to completely anonymous sex-often through a hole in a wall. I've never gone that far, but have gotten close-Thank you for being nice.

  • @Lengsel7 I think you are wayy off base here, I don't hang out at adult book stores nor do I wish to participate in group sex...no more than a threesome anyway, all and all pornography has saved me from some extremely poor decisions with real women.

  • @movadoband Anyways, we're getting away from the point of the video. This video is pointing out the design and function of the human brain, and it's reaction to modern technology and its content. Yes, sex is natural, so is eating, yet both can be used for self-medication and in a negative way. Both can, and are addictive....highly addictive. Both are particularly bad, as they turn normal human functions into negative addiction...for that reason, they are both extremely tenacious.

  • @Lengsel7 ultimately sex is not bad for us, eating is and drugs are too but I have never seen evidence that sex is bad for humans, I think all we can do is use good judgement and hope for the best, since I am not a porn addict this doesn't bother me but normally being persuaded to not like a thing that I do like never works with me....sex is good for you :)) you did say sex

  • @movadoband Did anyone, me or the producers of this vid ever say sex was bad for us? ADDICTION is bad. Sex in a loving, committed relationship is ALWAYS good.

    Eating is bad for us?

    Drugs are bad for us?

What happens when you stop eating? You die, don't you?

What happens when you end up in the hospital in pain? You're screaming for opiates, aren't you?

The difference is the intent of use. The difference is addiction. Addiction ignores judgement.

You say you're not addicted, but Can You Stop?

  • @Lengsel7 eating too much results in obesity, drugs end up with drug addictions....sex never hurt anyone I don't care how often you spank it...I love sex and I am proud to be a virile man...you are an idiot!

  • @movadoband Lol........."Virile man," eh?

MEN have relationships with WOMEN......masturbation isn't sex....masturbation is just wanking.

Sorry I tried to have a reasonable convo with you. I'm here to learn how to better myself. I'm going to move on now, and do just that.

  • @Lengsel7 really...I'm sorry you think sex is bad and I hope you find a gf soon.

  • @Lengsel7 Any fucking addiction is bad, but to take away a source of addiction is not the problem, the addicted mind will find something else to cling to... So stop with attacking the sources of addiction and start looking at the individual, and start getting the parents to be parents!

  • @Inovocre12 If you are addicted to meth, and stop buying and using it, that is a bad thing? Please elaborate.

  • @Inovocre12 That's not what we have seen over the last 5 years. Most porn addicts start using porn around ages 10-12, when their brains are most vulnerable to plastic changes and addiction. Daily use causes changes in the brain. When the men stop using porn, the addiction-related changes turn around. We know this because the men do not seek other addictions, and they experience an array of benefits, such as extra energy, confidence, more focus, greater sociability, better moods, etc.

  • @beatdownbob Thats a silly response to what is an insightful enlightening video. The message here is very helpful to us in understanding much of our addictive behaviour and removing a lot of the associated guilt and shame. So you can go back to your porn beatdownbob - nobody is trying to deny you that right - but at least now you will understand why you do what you do.

  • all you men are doomed to be slaves, why date a girl spend money on her, listen to her and talk about her feelings, and maybe she is plain in everyway. when you can have anything in anyway you want when ever you want at anytime.. a fellow earth woman :/

  • @beatdownbob Now that's oversimplifying an already simplified video.

  • Surely no more ominous than current developments fueled in part by widespread ignorance of how the brain's reward circuitry interacts with today's extreme and escalating porn.

  • what a ominous narrative.
