This show had it all....glamor, sports, drama, history, sentiment, romance, comedy! All wrapped up in a dose of reality...the way things used to be! My favorite of all were Jeff and Ginger, what girl would not want to marry a guy like Jeff? (sigh) :)

After they cancelled this show, I vowed never to get hooked on a network TV show. I have kept that vow these many years. Screw the network "deciders". They cancelled one show too many and now they are a dying breed.

Wow! Now I remember why this was my favorite show ever. I was so bummed they canceled it, I actually wrote a letter (snail mail back then) to the producers. They wrote back and said that it was expensive to produce. Jeff and Ginger were dreamy. Kyle Chandler nailed this role-he was such an all-American heart throb! I would love to own the DVD of the series.

Not on DVD yet. There is a Homefront website to try to get Warner Brothers to put out on DVD. Loved this show.

'Homefront' is definitely one of the best dramas ever put on TV. Great ensemble cast, excellent multi-layered story line. 'I'll Fly Away' was the other great period drama I'd always try to watch around the same time as 'Homefront' was on.

I LOVED KC on this show. Heck, I loved HF period, but Jeff and Ginger were my favorite part of it. I will put up a few clips I have of them at some point. They had such great chemistry.

Oh please, put up some clips! Jeff and Ginger were my favorite. The whole thing was so good. Anything with Jeff playing baseball...also I loved the lemo tomato juice thing that was funny. It'd be cool if you could include the opening too. Sorry! I'm being so demanding. They really need to put this on DVD.
