Eh, I wouldn't necessarily compare Alison to Kelly. Comparing Jame with Kelly would be more accurate because they both thought and believed that somebody was always after their pathetic asses all the time and they somebody was trying to destroy their lives. I would note that comparing Alison with Donna on 90210 is more accurate because they both accepted the fact that they were these pathetic sorry ass wimps!

It seems to me that both the writers of MP and 90210 had one thing in common: they liked to ruin the best couples of the show. There's a handful of amazing couples on both shows that didn't end up together. What a shame.

Alison left MP after season 5, when most of the original cast did as well. Billy and Alison said their final goodbye at the airport before she left (try to look for the video, it's a really touching scene!) Billy stayed on for another season and ended up with Michael's sister Jennifer. They were a good couple, but they were definitely no Billy & Alison!
