  • 1:14 is a summary of the whole american football v rugby thing; a pale imitation of the real deal! :P

  • american always think that rugby is their brother.LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLL, no way, rugby fans hate the shameful and embarassing american eggball. why you put any a pad and helmet if other guy can play without pad and helmet.

  • @lifesaach because they hit harder.. you aren't going to fling the your full body weight at someone as hard as you can if you don't have pads on. I played football and rugby and feel invincible with the pads on and just just fling myself where in rugby you have to tackle them differently. like football... love rugby

  • Love both sports...All Blacks, Hurricanes, Munster and Samoa for rugby(obviously) and Bears and USC from NFL and NCAA...but 49ers and Broncos are pretty good...especially in the Tebow era!

  • Yahhh I love soccer hahaha lol...yeah right

  • the rugby hits on this r sooooooooooooooooooooooo shit wtf

  • 1.11 the worst reinactment of a haka omg wtf

  • @MrGhaz12345 It's a different culture of islanders. They have different kinds of dances on each island. Personally, I prefer the All-Black's, but it's not horrible.

  • @shiron236 ummm no thats the trying to have the maori haka reinacted thats not an antoher islands haka lol i dont think your new zealander are u

  • typical Americans try to push up their fatboll with using rugby as a "brother sport" Rugby is different from fatbool.

  • Rugby players an football players should all just team up against soccer players they soccer players talk shit about both rugby an football players

  • I've played both and it's not easy to compare them. Especially the tackles are different. Of course Football is hard, Rugby as well. Both games can be painful but Rugby hurts much more.

But it's a fact that it's stupid to say that a Rugbyplayer will beat a Footballplayer.

I like both, but I prefer Rugby.

  • @stephanarne Agreed. They're two different sports. I've played both. American Football in high school and rugby in college. Very different.

  • 2:54 epic! Go brett! I am a cowboys fan but idc hes amazing!

  • The only way rugby would hurt me is picking me up and slamming me down

  • @Santafeindian99 really? i'd like to see you play 80 minutes tackling and being tackled consistantly and tell me you won't be hurting by the end no matter how many really hard hits you get

  • so what if some football players r gay.. theres rugby nd handball players that r gay 2... so fck all u football(soccer) haters...

  • #72 is a highschool teenager

  • I play both rugby and American football and I want to point out that American football hurts to get tackled from metal and plastic smashing into you and rugby hurts from certain hits. You get hurt in both, so stop saying one is better than the other because they both are very good sports.

  • Why the fuck do yall argue?!?! There two different fucking sports.

Thats like comparing golf to tennis.

Football has bigger hits and has been proven. Breaking bones and paralyzed WITH PADS?? Must be a damn big hit, and it happens all the time.

Rugby takes big balls to play.

    So does football.

    They are played different.

Why i say this?? Its about swimming man:DDD

    JUST KIDDING

    But seriously, stop arguing

  • Fuck these cunts talking shit about NFL and saying oh Pads this Pads that.. fucking gronks they wear pads because the hits that they do are plain and simple stupid and crazy. Here in Rugby theyre clean true tackles but they have the same effect. Besides they are both two different sports and are played so differently that the only thing people bloody compare them with is a fuckign hit. Americans dont realize that 90% of the NRL players are way above 210lbs besides the Halves(smaller play makers

  • @aseroxmilez Dont convert to their units man. Along with knowledge of international sports like league and rugby let them learn the metric system too.

  • @imortalsappy fair point. i'll never do it again :P unless some ignorant comment appears.

  • (Sport of football)

  • Rugby=wrestling and clotheslining

    NFL=Actual tackles

Which one do you actually think is a sport?

  • rugby sucks, its not nearly as exciting as american football.

  • @trampledone yeah going to adverts every five seconds is exhilarating...moron

  • Football has more last second wins and highlights, and a American football has bigger hits because of the pads.

  • rugby is safer than AF

  • rugby is be far the tougher game. the argument seems to be with most people here that rugby is based on stamina and american football is explosive power. my argument would be that rugby requires both of those things of you with no constant rotation of players and comparably little stoppages. rugby players don't wear pads or helmets and you're expected to be up and down the pitch for 80 minutes. As has been shown before, american football players wouldn't last a day in top level rugby.

  • @m9davies I think it has been shown that guys who were rejected by the NFL are doing quite well in Premiership rugby, but no one from rugby has ever made the transition to NFL. Please advise of a single rugby player ever playing in the NFL. I will provide you with references of American football players now playing rugby. Thank you.

  • @JEJMDTD can u provide those so called good rugby players who were af players? thanks

  • @jmanistheman12345678 The site is down right now, but I go to erugbynews which covers North American rugby. There are regular reports of Americans who have made the transition. If I remember I will look it up for you, if I do not, hopefully you will take a look. I am not lying.

  • @jmanistheman12345678 From week ending Dec 10 2010 - Also this past weekend, Chris Wyles started at fullback as Saracens won 26-14 over Harlequins. Taku Ngwenya scored a try to help Biarritz over Bougoin 37-20. Kevin Swiryn's Agen beat Brive 30-12, and Seta Tuilevuka's Montpellier lost to Toulon 29-13.

This weekend Round Three of the Heineken Cup (the European Cup) and the Amlin Challenge Cup kicks off, with several USA players in action

  • @JEJMDTD umm,ok bt for me thats not mking it or doing quite well,as european rugby is shit lol maybe if they did well in southern hemisphere then i would consider them doing well.or if they wee forwards in europe bcoz they have the best scrums up there. but good on em.i might be wrong but arent there kickers in af from rugby? jus saying, its kinda like what u just said

  • @jmanistheman12345678 The US has a couple of guys playing in Australia and one in South Africa. I think the SA guy is Todd Clever, but I am not sure. Shall I look it up? I am sorry, but I can not tell if you conceded the point?

No there are no NFL kickers from rugby. One rugby player is currently playing at running for a major college program in Utah. That's all I know about.

I like rugby better than AF by the way.

  • @JEJMDTD yeah tod clever was there for one season,he played or the worst team in the league.and i havent seen any americans playing in aussie but i'll have a look.like i said they would only be considered good if they played in super rugby or was a forward in a good team in england or france.but i guess there are no rugby players playin in nfl so u must be right? but i mean nfl isnt really big outside the us to play only really to watch and even then most of us watch an hour then get bord lol

  • @jmanistheman12345678 Sorry, I do not know the various gradations of pro rugby. I have not heard of super rugby.

You should try playing football. There are a lot of clubs that would let you try it out in Australia.

  • @JEJMDTD umm its the level just below international level.its a competition like aviva i think (dont watch european rugby) but its 3 conferences , one in south africa, one in new zealand and one in australia.the top 6 of all 3 go to the finals.its a lot better to watch than european rugby.but if ur into af then rugby league would suit u more.i live in new zealand, but na it seems boring for me only doing one thing n a game u know offense or defence whteva.

  • @jmanistheman12345678 Thanks. Basically in the US there is the NFL, and then the next "professional" rank is really not "professional" at all. Baseball has a thing called the "minor leagues" which draw a few thousand people to the games, so I guess rugby is sort of like that.

Don't knock a sport until you have tried it! I felt the same way about rugby, as I was an AF player, but then I tried rugby and found I like it better. AF is lots of fun to play too though.

  • @m9davies Requiers both? LMFAO what explosive power in rugby? Ive seen plenty of matches and wrapping someone up and tossing them to the ground is not explosie. FULL ON COLLISIONS are explosive. If you think the average rugby tackle is more explosive than the typical american football tackle then youre crazy

  • @kemoblue4u granted american footballers are quicker than most rugby players but that isn't to say rugby players are slow. the modern game even requires the forwards to be quick and the backs even quicker. you're also required to make every breakdown anywhere on the field. rugby tackles may not look as ridiculous as nfl tackles but they hurt a shitload more as we don't wear pussy pads or helmets. i've played a few games of american football and i was neither tired nor hurt after, rugby i was.

  • @m9davies "Neither hurt nor tired"

There are 3 possibilites for this:

    A. You played with your grandmother

    B. You played with girls

C.You only played for 3 minutes

The pads and helmets are a mere illusion that youre protected which is why they go full throttle with a tackle. And in the NFL there is only one rule to tackling (no helmet to helmet) and rugby they are rules and half of those "hard hits" tend to be illegal. If you think pads protect you from breaking anything then again youre crazy

  • @m9davies We can agree to disagree on this. In my opinion Rugby is a game of endurance while American Football is a game of break speed and explosiveness.

  • @kemoblue4u if u dont think rugby players have explosiveness then ur a chump aye.they are more skilled have better endurance and play a more exciting sport thatn af.pussy as sport

  • @jmanistheman12345678 LMFAO yeah right you sould like an idiot. "chump aye" lmaoo whatever.

  • lol at the beginning

  • if American football players are so tough why do you need so much protection rugby does not use any and get hit harder

  • @Runnerrmejor rugby and american eggball is never gonna be friends. get your fact straight

  • @lifesaach your brains aren't functional right?

  • im a rugby fan,i say to nfl players...take ya pads off then lets play!!!

  • nfl is boring

  • Hey, why are we fighting each other? All the Gridiron players I know respect Rugby. My football team even practices right next to the rugby team. Rugby and football are both man's sports. We have a common enemy though: Soccer. Those pansies ruin everything for us. Let's take our hate, and give it to them!

  • We can all atleats agree that american football and rugtby are both 40 times more tough than soccer

  • The hits are only harder through the pads, If the NFL takes the pads away most of the tackles in the NFL wont be legal. If you play rugby you will know that rugby players have a lot of skill and endurance beacuse they need to be mentally tough and psychically tough to play Rugby hits hurt and these blokes are putting there bodies on the line every game and come out with concussions and bruises its a tough sport.

  • @doggies92 Agreed. Plus speed. Rugby 7's - those guys are fit and run the 100 in Olympic qualifying times. They are true athletes. Rugby is a mans game. I stopped playing when i was 16 and left school because i didnt want to look like id been in a road crash.

  • gr3gwat - American football is shit, it stops and starts every 5 seconds, Rugby players are real men, not idiots who celebrate catching a ball like they've won the lottery. You say you've played Rugby for 4 years - obviously you werent good or played in the womens team because you'd be smashed up to pieces. American football hahah take the pads off and then talk to me, oh no, you dont want to get hurt hahah

  • @august251976

so what your saying is you dont know anything about American football

Im from NZ and played rugby all my life and even I know your talking shit

I aint saying the NFL is better im just saying its totally different you cant compare the 2

No rugby player could handle the NFL just like no NFL player could handle rugby

  • @car9melo exactly how am i talking shit? im interested to hear??

  • @car9melo "no rugby player ......and no nfl player...: that shows you're full of it. Exactly why couldnt a rugby player handle the nfl im interested in your response which of course will have no substance. I've been to many nfl games as i live in Florida -but according to you a rugby player couldnt handle action at 20 seconds a time?? what planet you on?

  • @august251ok i will rephrase it for you

no rugby player is gona be as good at the NFL as an NFL player like wise no NFL player is gona be as good at Rugby as a Rugby player

sure any1 can play 20 seconds at a time doesnt mean they are gona be any good

and now it sounds like you dont know anything about Rugby

they train for endurance which is why they aint as big or fast or strong

  • @car9melo your reasoning is that of a 12 year old, when did say a rugby player would be better at american football than an nfl player??? either you're drunk or stupid, my point was nfl players dont have to play for more than 20 seconds at a time v's rugby which is continuous and therefore a harder game- what is your point on this exactly? Oh and yes i know about Rugby, im English, born and raised yorkshire, which if you know anything, has a history of rugby. Read my points again!

  • @august251976

Rugby isnt harder its different thats the point you idiot

and i did read your points which weren't points they were you just talking shit about something you obviously know little about

I believe you are the narrow minded fool who hasnt read my points

  • @car9melo rugby is obviously harder than football idk how u dont get that i live in america nad im a giants and football fan but im not dumb enough to deny the obvious

  • @august251976 the only thing ur saying is that rugby is more aerobic and football is more anaerobic that doesnt mean rugby is "harder." would u say that the 800m is somehow harder or better than running the 100m dash? its 2 different things. if ur good at one ur prob not so good at the other.

  • rugby and grid iron are awesome :)

  • rugby and soccer r gay

  • @gr3gwat is that why all the world barr america play them (to a good standard) and only americans play football?

  • @x5pinzer0x cos american is the only non retarded country

  • @gr3gwat haha, didn't know american was a country. think you've disproved your own argument there.

  • @x5pinzer0x i think ur just a dumb shit who plays pussy ass rugby and i spelt a word wrong ohhh big fucken deal all it proves is that ive had hard knockes to the head from football and in rugby u can get that cos its pussy

  • @gr3gwat here's what i think. you're a dumb fuck that gets his head the wrong side of tackles hence becoming a cabbage that can't string a sentence together. you need to check out "pussy" rugby and try playing it. you'd be done in minutes

  • @gr3gwat i have played rugby i played for four years in australia and i have photos to prove it if u wish i used to love it but then i was doing both football and rugby and the rugby coach sed ur off this team now cos he hated football so much but he didnt know i played and yer my head is damaged from REAL football not gay ass rugby

  • nice video, man!!

  • ALLBLACKS ARE THE LEGEND! ! ! ! !

  • RUGBY ALL THE WAY . AND IF RUGBY PLAYERS HAD PADS THEN THEYD HIT AS HARD AS AMERICAN GAY FOOTBALLERS

  • look up chad jones hit against arkansas... look at that hit....

  • football(fifa) is a trash sport for street rats, gridiron is cool but it stops every 10 seconds, you need alot of pads and equipment, and you have 45 guys on a team doing the job of 30.

In my opinion rugby is best because even though they don't hit as hard as NFL gridiron players they hit alot more tackles per game and their stamina is better because they need to run for two 40-minute halves.

  • Haha i watch these videos more for the comment wars

  • haha, the Haka should never be performed wearing football armour lol, kinda defeats the purpose..

  • American Football>Rugby. Why?. im 17 years old 6'1 185 benching 255 squatting 465 . runing a 4.6 forty. and im still not good enough for college. and you think the NFl sucks?. you guys are stupid

  • i would shit my pants if i was covering 72.

  • Me either ... soccer is soooooooo god damned GAY.

  • if you are gunna call this rugby vs football show rugby not league i like rugby better more brutal bigger hits i like nfl for your speedsters and how fucking far you guys can throwm but league players hits dont compare we can agree that league isnt in the contest union is more painful most brutal nfl got its speedsters throwers and league well alot of ball playing but shitter hits

  • NFL has hard hits but we keep em armored up so they can get up and go.

Rugby I'm sure they dont do some of the same things or moves because well... it would kill them.... like the diving head to head helmet smash kinds of things you see in the nfl.

Also the game wanes with the tactics.... 10 .. 15 years ago it was more physical.... now were in the power QB era... softer tackling right now..... but thats already switching back with the Brutality of the Saints, Vikings games last year.

  • @Faelsun there not harder any more your only big hits are helmet to helemt or head to head the other impacts have less effect because either the tackler or tackled is off there feet before the impact giving alot less force when you dive at someone you give alot less force then if you tackle them properly if you look at the rugby vs gridiron series u see alot of players in rugby that dive and bounce off the man with the ball these are full on dives they dont work in rugby players 2 big

  • @Faelsun to knock a man running at full pelt by diving at them u either need to be bigger or they have to have terrible ballance the only actual nfl big hits are those performed rugby style with both men starting on the ground before impact and even then the impact is less because you don't get low enough and don't thrust your sholder as hard as we do but we can both agree rugby league is just pussy i like elague but nfl and actual rugby is harder

  • @7dayspking Your analysis is more speculation than fact. You are actually very wrong. I've played both Rugby and American Football. I was line backer in AF and Prop in Rugby. Much of the hits in American Football are illegal in Rugby League because of the massive injuries they can inflict. That's why the helmets and padding (which don't protect most places on the body). In AF, I had to constantly train at ramming and collisions. In rugby, it was rapping and take downs.

  • @FRETECH rugby league is the single most pussy fucking game on earth!!! fuck rugby fucking league the players are tiny and they cant hit for shitid like to see ray lewis tackle jonah lomu and ure an idiot if u doubt brian lima is the hardest hitter in any sport now we have jerry collins and players like rene ranger and more that would fuck a a af player with there pads on lmfao the brian lima hit wus and might always be the hardest hit in sport ever =) and tbh e have much bigger players

  • @FRETECH btw in sports science a league player hit 3 times what ray lewis did im sure a union player can hit alot harder then a fucking leaguie tbh =)

  • @7dayspking Whether or Not you think Rugby league is pussy or not doesn't change the fact that you have no idea what you are talking about.. You keeping spouting off theory! What exact sport science are you referring too???

Not only have I played both, I know others on here who have as well and they will tell you GRID is more violent. Don't get us wrong. We are big Rugby fans too (yes we do exists in USA). I prefer to play Rugby over AF. But your theory is wrong.

  • 7DAYSPKING WROTE: btw in sports science a league player hit 3 times what ray lewis did im sure a union player can hit alot harder then a fucking leaguie tbh =)

Thats physically impossible! If you want to argue actual science than leave out the pseudo-science. Also, Martin johnson is all-time Rugby Union and he is also a 49er fan. He visited their pre-season camps and took some hits. He says people back home have no idea how violent it is and described it like being hit by a freight train.

  • o@FRETECH 1.martin johnson isnt even in the top 15 best players in the english team and he is no were near there best runner lmfao he rarley takes a hit in rugby union and even more rarely dishes one out =) why dont u get one of your nfl players to run at jason white or brian lima(10 or so years ago) or jerry collins or rene ranger or one of our greater hitter and he can keep the pads on

  • @7dayspking And your point? Johnson is still looked up to by many. He knows Union and has played Union enough to give a solid credible opinion ( alot more credible than you. You and your exaggerated "hitting 3 times harder than what Ray Lewis did"). At least he not only played pro Union, he also practice with Pro NFL.

By the way...What sports science are you quoting....You still haven't answered the question!

  • @FRETECH IT it wus this stupid one that wus on tv it wus made by sum americans lol had this gay ass intro and they did it in this stupid shed thing they used some stupid leaguie i have never heard of apprently from australia and they used an american league player which amazed me that there wus american rugby players the guy hitr with 7100 lbs of force or sum shit dunno how much that is in our system they saikd that wus 3 time what ray lewis hit i have no idea

  • @FRETECH in my opinion any hit a leaguie can do a rugby(good rugby player) can tripple any the show wus called sports science i went on youtrube to find ray lewis hit to see what he hit and it it was on the same show again by same americans btw why did they use a crash test dummy for ray lewis???

  • @7dayspking um ok we will get steven jackson to just lower his helmet and knock ur rugby guy out, r u fucking retarded?

  • @siucsalukis11 lol u can put your helmet down i'll get lower then this douche bag and sholder him in the neck and sadly for that cunt it's legal to hit some1 in the head or neck with your sholder if they duck there head under your sholders so he can try it but i'll bet he'll leave with a broken neck and a shit load of breathing problems

  • @7dayspking i would wager any amount of money u would get ur ass run over by steven jackson.

  • @siucsalukis11 i'm 16 he's a grown man hahaha and i probebly wouldnt if he's under 124kg which is the heaviest weight of a kid i've picked up in a tackle it would be all good if he ran straight at my left sholder if he put his head down below his sholders i would move to one side and sholder him in the neck if you guys had core strength and mor upper body strength then he'd have a good chance

  • @siucsalukis11 fucking ahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! he's only 107kg ahaaha i got a kid in my team that is 16 and he's 119kg and the heaviest is 142kg he's 18 though but anyways hahahahahaha fucking ahahahahah!!!!!!! he can't run over anyone i just watched a hole vid about him he just steps as soon as some1 gets more the a hand on him he falls over shit core strength no upper body strength cant take a hit i'd fucking rape this guy

  • @siucsalukis11 this guy is so shit he had the ball 350times and only made 1412meters thats an average of 4.03428571 meters per run what the fuck is that??? i average at 8-30meters a run i get the ball 1-5times and iscore atleast once every1 game well these been 9 games i havent scored in somtimes i score 2-3 tkmes in a game my best is 5 tries in one game when u run that ball in rugby theres no blockers it's 1 player vs 15

  • @7dayspking they r different games u cant compare a rugby average attempt to football, say what u want u wouldnt tackle him

  • @siucsalukis11 if anything it's easier to make meters in nfl because u have a whole team of blockers at your disposal if anything the max amount of players coming at you is less then 5 which is nuthing andn the fail tackling involed also shows just how sad making only 4meters a run is if you don't think we hit harder look up brian lima

  • @7dayspking

"less then 5 which is nuthing"

Maybe if you're playing against children, it only takes 1 man in the right position to destroy any play in american football

  • @panathinakosbear lol any rugby player making a tackle could potentionally kill the runner lol which is more than what i n say for american fooball sometimes a rugby player can keep going with 4 or 5 hanger off him imagine the strength to pull along 400 500 or 600 kg 10 meters to the tri line?? y=then to put it down?

  • @7dayspking

That just says that the hits aren't big enough to put him down the first time. It's not really a matter of who's tougher, but more the style of the game. Football is pretty much suicidal everybody fly at the runner at breakneck speed. Rugby is more about control, yeah you see the big hit highlights but most of the game is just controlled grappling. If you tackled in football like you tackle in rugby, you'd lose every game because they'd gain so many yards.

  • @panathinakosbear in all the NFL games i've seen its hardly 'everyone fly at the runner at breakneck speed', sure theres some big hits, but theres also big hits in rugby. Rugby is a lot more than 'controlled grapling' after the person gets tackled its followed by a ruck and continuing play, rather than just restarting the play, like in NFL. In my opinion, both sports are tough in their own ways, but you have to give rugby points for not wearing giant pads

  • @cubefrk And as a guy who plays both, I'm telling you from experience. Yeah I give the rugby players kudos for not wearing pads, but you also have to remember that only the ball carrier can be hit in Rugby. Oh yeah and the pads don't help nearly as much as you guys think, trust me. I would much rather take an unprotected shoulder to my mid section than a helmet, and going head to head is even worse. In high school football it wasn't uncommon to wake up dizzy in the middle of night puking.

  • 1:40 is this guy high cuz he cant do the haka for shit.. he sounds like a pussy!!!! he sounds like justic beiber with a cracked voice

  • I play rugby and I also love gridiron (both canadian and american), fucking hate soccer.

  • Who tha fucc cares bout which fuccen sports better they don't give a fucc... I don't know bout new Zealand but people in America don't really give fucc... As long as we getting paid and living tha gud life dats all dat matters....get rich or die try'n is tha fuccen model out hea so fuccs wit it....bein broke is for the birds and we ain't wit it.......

  • @rasta408

You, sound like an idiot. Just to let you know

By the way fuck is spelled fuck not fucking fucc. I mean fuck man thats fucking fuck. Eh?

  • the haka is a maori warriors dance!! it should only be done by maori ppl!!

as most new zealand ppl are maori, its perfectly normal they do the haka as a tribute to their roots!! everyone else who does it just because its cool is simply insulting the maori culture!!

  • @ef560 your fucking stupid the majority of new zealanders are white and its not insulting their culture. fuck wit

  • @ef560 its only gay when americans and other countries do it that arnt from new zealand

  • @ef560 True That Bro' I'm A Maori And Everyone Should Stick Too There Own Shit.

  • u lot don't even like these boring sports just say u do to look hard and your still pussys football is the biggest sport in the world shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • lol the bigger hits on the vid were in rugby and in the top 10 biggest hits the biggest gridiron hit was a rugby style lift tackle and drive lawls now tell me rugby isnt better and id like to see a gridiron player who weighs around 128-131kg and can run 100 metres in under 10.5secs lawls

  • @7dayspking this vid is ment for USA football and rugby players to like eeach other and for us to hate soccer.

  • Hell yeah! Real Football American Football / Rugby! Soccer is for recess at elementary schools! They call it kickball!

  • farr soccer really iz for homoz

  • RUGBY IZ DA SPORTT!!!

  • haha i knw that soccor players were pussys.. but i never new they were fags lol rugby and gridirons the way to go =]

  • rugbys better

  • i see no skills soccer is the best sport in the world

  • Soccer is really gay...

  • @erikman5 yup

  • @erikman5 u meen football thas what soccer is called in GB plus american soccer teams are fucking shit worst players ever david beckem only went to get more money pus hes shit naw MAN.UTD FOR LIFE

  • @erikman5 is that because you cant play it?

  • yup wellhard11 all backs in griddiron football cause wee hit like carse comin at u at 30mph!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • damn knocked the fuck out 3:59 probably broken caller bone and arm right side

  • in football the fucking helmet doesnt do anything!!@!!!! so all you ppl talking about our pads stfu because i play football my self and i got knocked the fuck out by 290 pound line backer helmet to helmet when i got back up everything was swirling around with black spots turned out i had a cacation after that hit and it was serious omg that hurrt!@$#!#!

  • this music is gay

  • lol thank u for saying that!!!! 8^)

  • Rugby and football are both great sports. I can not wait until rugby goes pro in the US. We can have football in the fall and winter, and rugby in the spring! (Fuck boring baseball) And the rest of the world better watch out when rugby goes pro in the US. We are going to kick everyone's ass in at World Cup time. I will be willing to bet the US wins the second World Cup it plays in after rugby is pro in the US.

  • the us has only one god player in its national team

ngwenya and he is only superfast

  • I thought we had a couple of guys who were professionals overseas who were doing quite well in England and South Arica. One of the guys was a D1AA football player (which is a very good - but not great) in the US - he plays in England. My point is that when the top nothc NFL guys start having a choice - football or rugby - and we get the top notch guys playing - the rest of the World will be plating for the number two spot at the World Cup.

  • @IgnaceR152 In reality, rugby players in US are really only those that can't play in the NFL or high-level college and played it somewhere in prep school. It's a very minor sport here. Is rugby brutal? Absolutely. But, our best rugby players are third tier football players or those that never played football because they went to a private school here and rugby got them laid a lot more because of its cult status here.

  • kinda funny caus the rugby players in the US can't really play rugby either

i geuss it's just the difference between continents

  • @IgnaceR152 Or, let's see now, maybe because rugby requires a lot of skill and can't expect much from a small group of players who mostly started playing the game at around 20 years of age. The passes and kicking game (huge in rugby) doesn't exist in gridiron, except for a couple of kickers and QB's on each team. Football - only time you'll really see laterals is in the now-rare option offense. It'd be the same as telling ruggers they can't pass or kick anymore. It requires rewiring the brain.

  • not only will Rugby not become mainstream here in the states because it is not as well known..but look at how much people LOVE the game of football..and yes it may be the same for rugby in other countries, but here in the states, football is our love, it is the premiere sport, that wont change. Football is something special and it will stay that way! not knocking rugby however, it just wont catch fire in the states as long as football is here (which will be always)

  • @michigancb Agreed. But I wish that wasn't the case. The USA will never, ever put the best potential rugby players on the field because football is a religion in many states and too many dream of million dollar contracts in the NFL. Without tradition and the prospects of money, rugby will never be a major sport here. I've seen more stories/events on our Olympic bobsled team or beach volleyball than the sport of rugby and that's wrong. I wish it found its due place here.

  • ur so fucking lame

  • @FULAS714x20 Why? Because I can string a sentence together? Ask your mommy to help you form some thoughts that add to mankind and get back to me. Why do so many rugby supporters on this site only seem capable of saying something stupid instead of adding to the discussion with some intelligence?

  • bcuz we dont have time to for bullshit on youtube how old r u dude??like act ur age

n u r lame . like who does this shit .on youtube or anywere

  • @FULAS714x20 You're right. I'll never make fun of 13 year olds again. My bad.

  • fool im 18

  • @FULAS714x20 18 and from Fullerton. Might as well end it now. It won't get any better for you. Sorry. Next.

  • soccer is a pussy sport they are allways crying

  • Wat the fuck?!?!? Why are the fucking faggot soccer players kissing?!?! Soccer is a fucking pussy sport. Soccer shouldn't even be a sport. The announcers act like jackass faggots when someone makes a goal. Any NFL player AND College player could snap any faggot soccer players like a toothpick.

  • 0:12 Do you ever see nfl players kissing each other?

  • Good haka from the IronBlacks. At least, I think it was the IronBlacks. I wish we could see more of them on TV.

  • allblacks :)

  • diese schwuchteln

  • this is a great vid. Rugby and gridiron are for men and soccer is for boys who are to scared to be hurt.

  • Bollocks

  • its a fucking discrace american football uses the Haka.. its not a show man..

and American Football is more pussylike than soccer is.. its not even a sport man.. its a show

  • i agree with you to a point on the haka, but the only reason that particular school does it is coz there are so many in the school are of maori heritage.

but come on, soccers a complete joke right now. less contact then basketball.

  • It doesnt matter if their maori.. they should not play that pussygame, or show as we speak, i agree with Elbabusama because i have tried it

  • so they cant show their heritage based on what sport they play? i dont think what they did was right coz its not all their heritage, but its not ur place to say.

i play all three and currently soccer is the biggest disgrace of the three

  • Yes Am. Football must be a pussy game, considering 0.4 people die every year playing rugby, and 10 die each year atleast just playing college football here in the US.

Am. Football hits harder than rugby, PROVE SCIENTIFICALLY, and it takes more athleticism. I'd like to see you willingly take a hit from a 6'7 285lb defensive end(julius peppers). Oh yeah, and do it without pads. We had to implement pads because people WERE DYING. You guys still don't wear pads, yet you rarely die?

  • To be fair sh1yne, when pads were implimented American football was practically rugby.

It isn't comparable to American football of today.

And the reason rugby players dont die is because we have rules to protect the player. Am Football players have pads.

2 different ways to protect the player. Also tons of people break their necks in scrums. I know a few people personally who've done so at amateur level.

Don't think rugby isn't dangerous or doesn't have big players.

  • 6'7 and 285 is impressive but not out of this world. Bakkies Botha is 6'8 and 260lbs. Victor Matfield is 6'7 and 250lbs.

You wouldn't willingly take a hit from either of those guys. But if i was to take a hit from them I'd much rather we both had padding on, as opposed to a flesh on flesh hit.

Believe me, It's much easier to hurt someone in rugby than it is in the NFL.
