"Warped Factor Labs" awards you with the QUANTUM LEAP prize. 2 LEDS or 2 trillion LEDS. you could generate enough power off the ground with LEDS and solar cells to plug your equipment into, or sell power back to the utility company.
Very neat...shows what i'm seeing too. Last night really explained it for me and you might try it - replace the LED's with a small neon bulb !
I'm hoping that the connection is a capacitive coupling, like a strand of a multi-filar Bedini motor say. The differences in potential from one Ground to another may be the source and, if capacitive, to be without draw on the mains supply.
very nice demo, we need to through out all the equipment when running the PSEC, or light a few thousand LED's from a house ground without turning the meter.
It can be that one or more of the devices have switching power supply's internal. These can create with the power cords and the power from the wall, a high spike high frequency signal. Your led's show this switching around.
Is your receptacle grounded?

Interesting.
See what happen when you unplug the equipments, and test again. You will gain more understanding.
