how the hell did I beat this as a kid. Also, look at how good of a game this was, they try to make nintendo games nowadays fun, but they miss the mark completely in my opinion. Galaxy 1 was alright, never played galaxy 2, but I imagine its just another try hard attempt at making fun and challenging gameplay, all the while, failing. All they need to do is look back at levels like this and expand upon it.

Want a tougher challenge? Get the other six red coins! I managed to collect EVERY coin/1UP in this level once. It was really hard for me to get all the red coins with the rotating platforms, but I eventually got it.

with the clock stopped or moving normally and given enough time, it's possible to get 128 coins total on this level. but for the purpose of youtube, i upped the ante and did almost all the coins erratically. this is impossible to do without falling, i garuntee it.

i got 100 coins several times, but never 116. the only way to get 116 coins is to hit all the coin boxes, beat every enemy, and get 2 out of the 8 red coins.

doing it all while the clock is moving erratically is even WORSE! it's a tough challange!

no, it's nigh-on impossible. after attempting this run like over 50 times, i only got 7/8 coins on one attempt and died very shortly after. to get all the red coins is ridiculous enough, let alone the regular coins with the clock moving erratically this quickly.

it's probably possible to get all the coins without any moving parts and the star on top of thwomp (some careful triple jumping and a few side jumps/wall kicks), but that's not a test of skill.

it's probably possible to get all 128 coins with the clock stopped, but besides from a few jumps it's easy to accomplish. doing 128 coins erratically would've been nigh-on impossible though.

the game debuted on the N64 in 1996, but this was recorded from the wii's virtual console, as an internet download. it's a perfect emulator of the original though, with all the original glitches, designs, sounds, and controls.

super mario 64 was the most dynamic 3d mario game. unlike sunshine or galaxy which force you into getting the stars in order and slows you down purposely.

you got to love super mario 64...its the best game i know for nintendo 64!!! i have a nintendo 64 and this game came with the nintendo...then i got so many other games....mario kart is one of them! nintendo 64....maybe i'll pack my playstation 2 and turn my nintendo 64 again just to bring memories back... thank you for your videos :)

this isn't the best run of the level. there are tons of other shortcuts i know of, but didn't have a chance to reveal them. if i ever get tempted to do this level again with a "perfect" run, i will ;)
