My first song was talk. One day, was listening a general music CD when I heard Talk and I loved it bud I didn't kwew who sang it. I found the band and I discovered the other song. Since this day, I've loved Coldplay.

When I first heard Viva La Vida I started looking up Coldplay's songs and that's when I heard the song that I remembered hearing when I was like 6 or 7 and that song's Clocks...I always loved that song but I didn't know what it was called or who it was by and when I found out I was soo happy!!!It sounded so familiar and it's my favoritest song in the whole world!!!!I love Coldplay now and a few days ago I got X&Y...I like Coldplays older songs more then the ones from their new album Viva La Vida

I never use to listen to any music, then one day in the car home from holiday, i heard clocks, I didn't know who sang it, and after a while i even forgot how the song went it drove me crazy. then i heard it on TV and found out who it was. Now I love everything about coldplay

and even though i know it is so cliche, but i still love the song viva la vida. and im not one of those people who heard viva la vida and liked it so decided to call myself a coldplay fan. ive loved coldplay for a long time

The thing about people thinking it was cliche was only because they chose it as a single. The fact of the matter is, it's the exact OPPOSITE of cliche. It just so happened that song was probably the closest to "catchy" as they could get on the viva la vida album. They couldn't use, say, Life in Technicolor as their single, or 42. The world isn't intelligent enough for that kind of music to be on Top 20 yet.

I love all of them! They all have different sounds. Rush of Blood to the Head was the first album I listened to, followed by Parachutes, Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends (full name of the album), and X&Y.

I'll always love Coldplay!!! :P

viva la vida is so much different from their previous albums, i think coldplay is turning into a more mature and diverse band. the new album uses various instruments to enrich the songs, which i love it!

Coldplay has really grown on me. The first song I heard was "Viva La Vida" which was excellent, then I bought the album, and there's really only a couple of songs I don't completely like. Then I started listening to these older songs, and I love them more! X & Y is definitely one of my favorites, along with Clocks.

I loved X&Y. I can't believe it got trashed so badly. It's one of my favorite albums along with A Rush Of Blood To The Head. I didn't really like Viva La Vida the first couple listens, but now its all I listen to.

I agree coldplay had some really good songs on Parachutes and X&Y. Hopefully Viva la Vida grows on me more. I mean I like it but i doubt the songs on viva la vida can be as heartfelt as the earlier songs.
