No, they had planned on doing a movie. Unfortunately, they never got the money they needed to make it and so it doesn't exist. The script exists but it was rejected in 2004/05 and this picture is probably really. Doesn't mean it's happening though.

You don't have to wait long to spot the flaw: the dead giveaway was using the original cast in your vid. It has been made plain that one of the many impediments to the film is the foolish insistenc that it be made with a new cast.

So If you want to make something more authentic for your next fake, choose some twenty year old twinkies from Hollywood. Then people might watch it for 10 seconds instead of 5.

They have left it too long for another series. 8 or 9 years I think since series 8? I only watched that once despite the fact that I still have it all on video! They used to do one a year for the first five series then it started taking forever. The production values on series 7 were great..even better on Series 8 but resurrecting the rest of the crew took the heart of the show away.

Besides, if you knew anything at all, then you would know that Doug Naylor has not yet been able to even begin to think of a red dwarf movie as he has not been able to get any funding.

Ew, I don't know if I could handle a new cast. I can handle re-makes (in fact, sometimes I prefer remakes over the originals) but I don't think a new cast would work.
