I'm a Perrenialist, which means I learn from every religion. But any man who says he knows the truth is not being honest. I think truth will be the final religion. There can be only one. But I will not kill for it, nor will I force others to believe what I believe. I seek it for my own spiritual evolution. But when I study religion, I learn from men. If the prophecy was written as "YHWH", Jesus Christ would have said YHWH instead of "Elohi" or "My God".

@MrShameerayub My response: First of all, the whole chapter is called the Prayer of the Innocent, which is narrated by the innocent person (in first person singular) as indicated in the verse above. Furthermore, the prophecy of verses 16 and 18 are both fulfilled during Jesus’ crucifixion:
“16 Dogs have surrounded me; a band of evil men has encircled me, (like the lions) they have pierced my hands and feet.”
“18 They divide my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing.”

In Hebrew it says "Yehoshua Hanatzri Wemelech Hayhoodem". The Jews complained to get it changed. Do you know why? Because the acronym of the words showed the name of God - YHWH.
Hence the name of God was only revealed twice in the Bible. Once in the Old Testament, and once during the crucifixion.

Ramadan starts & ends with the sighting of the hilal (crescent) because this is the sign of the beginning & end of the month. This DOESN'T mean Muslims worship the moon. The Islamic calendar is based on the lunar year, which means the months are determined by phases of the moon. Just as the Gregorian calendar (the calendar the rest of the world uses) is based on a solar year, the SUN. So to say Muslims worship the moon is like saying the rest of the world worships the sun!

The symbol of the crescent & a star wasn't an Islamic symbol in the time of prophet Muhammad. It' was introduced by the Ottomans & was THEIR OWN symbol. It was never originally part of Islam & it's meaning may not even be Islamic. It was latter adopted as a symbol for Islam, probably because the Ottomans put it on all of the mosques. Ilah is the noun for god... with a lowercase 'g'. Allah is the proper noun for God... with a capital 'G'. Unlike English, and other European languages, Arabic doesn't have capital letters, instead they use slight variations in spelling.
Ilah ( إله ) is an noun which simply mean god, and can be used to describe any deified person or object.
Allah ( الله ) is a proper noun which means the one Supreme Being, the creator and ruler of the universe, and is ONLY used for GOD ALMIGHTY

But I will not kill for it, nor will I force others to believe what I believe. I seek it for my own spiritual evolution. But when I study religion, I learn from men. Ka'bah is the qiblah (direction) and all Muslims from different areas around the world face the Ka'bah when they pray. It also marks unity. We are united together as we worship One God. Plus, it is the command of Go d that we pray facing the Qiblah (direction) i.e. the Ka'bah. Muslims hear and obey God.

Because it is the qiblah (direction). Every Muslim wherever they may be in the world pray facing this direction. It is the command of God according to the teachings of Islam to face this direction whilst praying.

At the beginning of time, we believe that the angels came and built the Ka'bah. Then later times I believe it was demolished. Then Prophet Abraham and his son re-built the foundations of the Ka'bah.
