a)Bike safety equipment does cost a lot. A decent helmet is £120, a decent jacket is £100, and the gloves will be about 29:99.
b) try and get a warranty when you buy your scooter ( if from a dealership ), so they will fix any brak-downs for free.
c) Don't call the insurance company unless it is really really needed. If they have to fix something, your premium will go up, and you don't want this in later life.
Of course there is a difference between disc and drum break. A disc puts hydraulic preasure on the disk and a drum break works by pulling or pushing the break sho onto the drum.
Aber in Deutschland muss man eine Prufung machen in England nicht. L bedeutet Lerner, also wissen andere Fahrer das sie anfaenger sind. Verzeih mein Deutsch es ist nicht meine Muttersprache.
