Hello Jeroen. It's ltatch again. Thought I would let you know that I have worked video 1 for alternate bass and am now attempting to work my way through this one (Vid 2). I think you are an excellent teacher.  I'm struggling somewhat with section 3, but will push forward. Thanks for doing all the free lessons. I hope to have this series (Alternate Bass 1 & 2) accomplished well enough in a month or two to be able to go on to one of the others. Thanks again.

You need to put your thumb in your pocket, or on the back of the neck. The way you play is extremely awkward.

@ernlay I understand your opinion and I must say when I first saw it I thought it was stupid too. But You have one extra finger to play with so that's a big advance.I learned this from watching great players like Tommy Emmanuel. By Jeroen

Hi, maybe first try to play some lose bass notes on th e string , if it sounds good , try adding a chord to it. Good luck! Jeroen
