  • Hello Jeroen. It's ltatch again. Thought I would let you know that I have worked video 1 for alternate bass and am now attempting to work my way through this one (Vid 2). I think you are an excellent teacher. I'm struggling somewhat with section 3, but will push forward. Thanks for doing all the free lessons. I hope to have this series (Alternate Bass 1 & 2) accomplished well enough in a month or two to be able to go on to one of the others. Thanks again.

  • about one of the best youtube teachers out there, thanks al lot dude. great break down!

  • hello, there's no volume with this video. i did the first part and want to continue but can't : (((

  • @hapasasa mmm Strange , I heard it apears more often with some videos. I have normal sound over here.... I don't how come..

    Thanks for letting know. Jeroen

  • @hapasasa It is a very late reply, but I just found this video. You can't hear because you might have muted one of the speakers.

  • hahaha :D okay heronymusic :D btw :D ilike it :D

  • is that was heal the world at 2:10 !?

  • @xxxxgame Not as far as I know :)

  • You need to put your thumb in your pocket, or on the back of the neck. The way you play is extremely awkward.

  • @ernlay I understand your opinion and I must say when I first saw it I thought it was stupid too. But You have one extra finger to play with so that's a big advance.I learned this from watching great players like Tommy Emmanuel. By Jeroen

  • how would you practise playing with the thumb? its a real stretch for me

  • Hi, maybe first try to play some lose bass notes on th e string , if it sounds good , try adding a chord to it. Good luck! Jeroen

  • @korvlada I would say you have smaller hands ... so this might be heavy for you but over time it gets normal

  • this is fantastic, thankyou so much for this. 5 stars.
