  • Does anyone remember a piece where Suzanne was doing exercises at the ballet bar with Herry and at least one other monster? When they finished, one of them asked what they were going to do next. "We break for lunch," said Suzanne, and the monsters began breaking the bar and eating it.

  • Oh, of course! Cookie Monster was there. Now I'm not so sure about Herry. But he could certainly break a ballet bar if he wanted to.

  • She was quite good but I personally am not that crazy about Balanchine choreography and technique, and it's unfortunate that it seems to be all that she did during the peak of her career.

  • I wish there were more videos of her on you tube :(

  • She does appear in the DVD "Choreography by Balanchine," where she dances "Tzigane" with Peter Martins. It's from an old "Dance in America" episode.

  • O thanks for telling me!!

  • Can somebody please post clips of Farrell dancing Balanchine??? or even rehearsing Balanchine. Thanks!

  • You won't see any clips of Farrell dancing/rehearsing Balanchine on youtube (or if you do, the vid will be taken down immediately), due to the Balanchine estate's strict rules. However check out the documentary 'Elusive Muse' - about Farrell's life and career - for great archival footage.

  • Suzanne Farrell is going to turn around and around, the Count will count the turns, and the rest of us will get dizzy watching it all.

  • I took a few classes from Suzanne Farrell at fsu (amazing) and she is so serious its funny to see her like this ahaha

  • WOW you are so lucky! Nobody dances like her!!!!!

  • haha i went to her summer program twice, she really is funny!

  • I like how they're actually using the correct form of "Brava." Most people don't even know that. Ahhh, Sesame Street, you are awesome.

  • Oh, this brings me back! Suzanne is at her peak in this clip too :)

  • was this a feature on sesame street news about body parts

  • I think I requested this one. Thanks!

  • Some of those monsters sund like Brian Muehl

  • This is most likely from 1978, which was Brian's first year on the show, when he did a lot of background charachters.

  • I know this is probably from the late 1970s, because I can tell from out Count von Count looked back in the 1970s, and the thunderclap sound effect they used
