L' Opera è Tradizione e Patrimonio Italiano con qualche rara straordinaria eccezione. Mirella Freni è stata una Stella che non si può discutere ma solamente amare ed ammirare. Giro il mondo come primo violino di spalla accompagnando cantanti lirici di tutte le nazionalità che s' inventano cognomi "italiani" pur di calcare i palcoscenici dei teatri d' Opera, massacrando la nostra lingua meravigliosa solo perchè hanno la "canna" ma non la dizione perfetta come si perdona invece ad altre Stelle.
Out of all the sopranos who sing Je Veux Vivre, Mirella Freni sings it the best. It's absolutely grand. She was an excellent Juliette and Marguerite, making her the best Italian soprano who ever sang French opera.
Je n'aime pas trop Freni dans cet air. C'est bien chanté mais sa voix me plaît moins que d'habitude. Je la préfère largement dans le répertoire italien. Elle a en plus un français exotique.
@aurele65 Elle n'a jamais eu la voix pour chanter ça En plus, le français est dégueulasse et le style a l'avenant. Elle reste quand même la meilleure Mimi que j'aie entendue!
@vivegedda bonsoir, si vous n'aimez pas ça n'en dégoutez pas les autres,le Français se chante trés bien,maintenant mirella Freni aimait chanter cet air ça lui faisait plaisir,et bien elle avait raison,je la trouve trés bien elle chante avec ses possibilités,merci Madame
Thank you for this posting from the live performance. The EMI studio recording of 1969 is one of the best EMI did with Corelli whom they did not know how to produce effectively in most cases. Freni is a brilliant Juliette for him.
