This guy is awesome. I can't afford health insurance. I had two separate medical events within one year and spent a total of 4 hours in the emergency room. Price: $15,000 dollars which I paid in cash. The last time I had insurance I spent about this much $. Frankly, our government has created this problem by effectively giving insurance companies regional monopolies. There's no competition. There's no economic forces making them cut costs or deliver better options. Medical overhead is killing us
Medical costs are skyrocketing , I asked my dentist , he said blame lawyers, they lawsuit him over every thing you can imagine. Frivolous lawsuits , companies go to China and place their business overthere. result worst depression since 1930's, yes depression . We are a free market economy and shouldn't bail out even banks. When the cry baby bankers fucked up where did they go to Uncle Sam , in the past their argument for not giving or extending unemployment was we are a free market economy
This man doesnt have a problem but our society does when we overpay greedy bankers and they are still stealing from us. There should be no reason why someone in the richest country in history should have no health insurance. The bankers should start loaning money or have them all arrested.
I like Lou's story. Very positive. But, what does this have to do with health care? if this is a pro-univ. health care commercial; It doesn't speak to me. Is it his choice not to have health care now? Even if things pass he may still not be covered. He is healthy and takes care of himself. He is not a whiner. Now if this man could knock the same sense in to the rest of the nation we would be great... I would love to meet Lou and talk with him. Have him give me a shout... Very Inspiring.
