When I look at Square and the PSP, I'm getting mixed feelings after seeing Agito. Crisis Core looked beautiful, played beautiful and was great from top to bottom. It was already promising when they first announced it. But Agito, looks a lot different than Crisis Core. A bit dissapointing actually, since it looks chaotic and just not that slick. Besides Dissidia and Tactics, this is a true Final Fantasy game for the PSP after Crisis Core. But I'm not too positive about it. Square show us more!

@Youngrezzie You're right that these are the early stages, yet Square announced this game a very long time ago, yet they pushed it back and did other games first. Even games that were announced later have their release dates ready. For example: The 3rd Birthday for the PSP will be released in Japan at the end of the month. Agito isn't ready for that yet. The 3rd Birthday looks impressive, but I wish they would have did Agito first. I hope they don't dissapoint!

@xjcandmFX Learn to read. I never said those were true FF games. I said that after Crisis Core, Agito is a true FF game for the PSP since they're tied to the numbers. Tactics is a different part of FF, while Dissidia is pure fan enjoyment (good game though). The remakes of the first two are true FF games, but I didn't care as much for them as I did with Crisis Core.

@xjcandmFX I actually didn't like the story and gameplay. The newer FF games are better in every way. I got interested in the FF series when VI came on the market. That was a great game, and then VII came which was even better and then the others. I tried the other games that came before FFVI and I didn't like them. VI got me interested, and that's it.

XII and XIII failed in my opinion, while Kingdom Hearts rose to the top and actually beat Final Fantasy nowadays. I hope Square-Enix doesn't ruin Versus XIII and Agito XIII. Same goes for Dissidia Duodecim and many other great titles.

FFX wasn't exactly an 'up' there was a steep drop in quality between ffix-ffx. in my opinion FFIV-FFIX: Golden Era. FFX: Passes as a final fantasy game. FFXII more vagrant story 2. FFXIII: Good effort. It's not as bad as people make it out to be, it just linear and a lot of the important story is only brushed upon.

-The opening clip in the Versus trailer is pre-rendered. The rest is real time.

-The battle against the Behemoth was actually slowed down, because Noctis was moving so fast that Nomura was afraid people wouldn't be able to see him clearly.

Versus looks great as expected. Versus does give off a bit of a lifeless vibe but I'm sure a lot will be added to the game by it's release. The game looks absolutely fantastic graphically and the combat is gonna kick-ass.

Could the "barren" environments be a idea that the world is open and explorable (look similar to Fallout 3 to anyone else?) the few attacks at a bahamut might be showing that there is no transition to an imaginary battlefield where the fights take place.

Really the imagination could go on but that's where I'm betting people are getting excited from.

graphics in versus will not be better than orginal xiii because in xiii xbox 360 was a acept after 2 or 3 years from hard dev and this made big problem on xbox 360 and square enix

FFV13 just looks like FF13 v2.0 ... and Agito seems to be slowly transitioning into a poor quality Monster Hunter Clone..

i guess ill reserve judgement till the conference in 2011.. but really.. Versus should be a action game not Turned based like FF13.. and agito well.. mabye Agito is fine.. but they need to put there own spin on COOP psp action.. more so than Peace walker even.
