  • i love turkey :))

  • cok super bir clip

    istanbul da bulunan

    B... A... U....... 80 ne

    yetim hakimi haram ediyorum

  • A great video that gives Turkey a flair of Venice. Nothing looks Turkish at all. That's why it's nice! It also shows important monuments of foreign nations: Efessos,Saint Sophia. Turks don't say that produced them, but at least they can be proud that captured them and half destroyed them. Most were conquered by a "glorious" Turkish army of 500,000 against a ghost city and its 5,000 defenders in 1453. They belong to the history of other countries, but they are in Turkey. Impressing civilization!

  • u greeks sure are hurt aren't u? if ISTANBUL (FORMERLY constantinople) was so easy to capture, why was noone else able to do so? u are just sour your ancestors had to be SLAVES to us, many greeks say Turks and greeks are alike but as i always say; `How can a master be like his slave?`

  • If somebody is hurt its you my "friend" because you cannot say proudly that any of those monuments are monuments of your nation. They are stolen monuments that belong to other peoples history. You are like hyenas that sit on top of dead bodies. Constantinople was captured not by heroic action but by a multinational mercenary army of the Sultan at its most weak moment isolated without any territory left and without army or allies. Read to learn poor mind.

  • As for masters and slaves Greeks were the economic elite of of the Ottoman state. "Ruling" Turks were servants in the Greek houses of the big cities. That's why so much hate not only from you but from our Christian Orthodox "brothers". Besides commerce and banking Greeks also had in their hands all the foreign and naval affairs of the Empire. At the end my friend you are slave of a culture that goes nowhere and has nothing to teach the world but hate, genocides and cruelty.

  • So basically u are claiming that greeks actually ruled the Turks yet GREECE (a Turkish word) has been an Ottoman state for; 500 years, that is mind dazzling... the fact is greeks were one of many nations who had to bow to the sultan, it's just the proudest one and it is the only one in denial, greeks can't accept the fact that they were under occupation for half a millenium! everything that befell the poor greeks were just trickery and thievery, oh poor greeks were always at the tip of the sword

  • the slave culture are the greeks, you are not even a shadow of your ancient culture, u copy the Turkish culture and claim it for yourself, food that has originated from the imperial kitchens are today sold overseas as `greek`. words like `baklava`, `kataifi`, `tzatziki` are not only greek but do not mean anything in greek, u poor greeks again in your ignorance claim these and sell it to americans and clueless people. Coffee was introduced to europe by the Turks, yet there is `gREEK COFFEE`...

  • i should move on to what was stolen... what u claim stolen was taken by blood, and only by blood can it ever be restored, since greeks did not have such blood to shed being the spineless people they are, they remained in today's Turkey, u guys are a bunch of crybabies and crybabies don't deserve monuments or big gems like ISTANBUL, if u snooze, u lose, that's what history repeats again and again, there are no ifs and buts only results, you are the poor mind and u are in ignorance

  • as for the killing and `genocides`, that was the way of the times, Turks are talked about cuz they actually institutionalized the act and built an empire around it, they were resourceful, systematic and very thorough, there was no `mercenary army`, no mercenary army lasts 700 years, compared to the Turkish army hitler's army was a mercenary army. again you are the underdeveloped poor mind. Turks systematically conquered, controlled and taxed nations where greeks banked, was merchants and so on

  • Phanariote Greeks were appointed Grand Dragomans and ambassadors of the empire, Princes of Moldavia and Wallachia, controlled transportation and commerce to Suez, Aegean, Tobacco and Cotton Agricultural exports of Turkey Egypt and Balkans the Danube and Black Sea. Zarifis family were the bankers that lend the Sultan himself. This didnt like our European "friends" and lead us to a disaster giving in return a small "free" state that did not include the majority of Greeks within its borders.

  • Those "Turks" that conquered near and middle east and the Balkan peninsula were the sons of the Christian populations of the empire turned into Janissaries. All Ottoman navy was in Greek hands thats how the Ottoman fleet was destroyed later. The throne of the Patriarch even standing today is a present of the Admiral of the Ott Navy. The real Turks. Greeks were taking advantage lending to the muslims and using the labor of the Slavs in Macedonia and elsewhere my good friend.

  • As for our nation: Even being a shadow of the ancients is an honor. As for the baklava and moussaka and lukum you can have them. The are not Turkish either but Persian and Libanese or anything else. As for the coffee trade was in the hands of Greeks and Armenians. GO to Rome. The most historic Caffe protected by the ministry of Italian culture is called Il Antico Caffe del Greco. The brochure of the establishment explains why: because coffee was sold to Italy by the of the Ottoman Greeks!

  • The conquest of Constantinople was nothing glorious. 500,000 strong against 5,000. Even like this resisted. The Sultan employed a Hungarian engineer that constructed the biggest canon ever to destroy part of the walls. There was treason a door (Kerkoporta) was left open. Many Greeks preferred the City to fall to the Turks than the Pope. Then the "glorious army" destroyed it killing women and children, even Sultan said in tears: "what damage we did to such a great city".

  • Read it its your history too. Dont let Kemalism blind your intelligence. The empire lasted 1100 years It fell but the Greek nation lived. Those that you call slaves today are a qualified European nation a country with no resources with an average income that surpasses multiple times the one of the "masters". They even have your people cleaning their homes and toillets. I have nothing against your country, I even like Turkey. But you have to be honest, recognize and honor people and history

  • these monuments have history like the the ones that were left by the Arabs in Spain. No matter what the world knows just be brave and say whose heritage is this.

  • yeah u do make more money but u also now have euro standards (u are effed), not only did u lose ur tourism to us, u also are the armpit of the EU.

4- the cannon bringing down constantinople (first ever used in the history of warfare) was built by a Romanian not a Hungarian, the SULTAN again was the super power in the region, he paid better than any of u fags could. (remember Einstein? he was no American, yet who is the super power now?)

  • Treason? hahahaha this is typical `loser sentiments`... `...we didn't lose the city, we just gave it up` lol, like the americans say, they never lost in vietnam, they just left... The Turks make no excuse, our losses are our losses, but for the most part WE RULED THE REGION, you stay out of pages and videos that have nothing to do with you, you admit you are a son of a loser nation, you admit your ancestors were great but YOU ARE THE HYENAS sitting atop your ancestors feeding on their culture

  • as for the monuments shown in this video, we need none of it, the Turks created arguably the most successful Islamic architecture, so we put minarets on HAGIA SOPHIA and HAGIA EIRINI to remind u morons who owns you, i was born and raised in ISTANBUL, which u have probably never seen, or if you have, you don't know it like i do, i have a summer house on the aegean and it's minutes away from EPHESUS, yeah we own these lands now...

  • you wriggle like a fish out of water... with reason, you assume you educate me but ...

1- I am by no means a Kemalist

2-The greek nation is not even a shadow of its ancestry.

3-Masters today are close to 100 million, slaves... 11 million? greek Purchasing power Parity $343.6 billion (2008 est.) Turkey Purchasing power Parity :$906.5 billion (2008 est.) greeks make 32000 usd to turks 12000 usd

  • With 100 million hungry people you always try to menace your neighbors. But can you imagine if Turkey was 10 million? It would be so insignificant! Without support from the US this 100 million people Turkey would be nothing today. As for shadow of a nation owns the best parts of the Balkans and Aegean taken from the Ottomans and you cannot even take your nose out of the straights. Greeks always defeated themselves Turks where the lucky hyenas to eat the corpses after wards.

  • But you are really a funny and fanatic guy. As a sign of manhood and civilization you should recognize the Greek monuments in Turkey and be proud of them and of the Hellenic heritage of the area. I have books on Ataturk. I recognize his leadership and abilities. I don't like what he did to destroy the multinational character of the area for a single Turkic state but this is my opinion and does not mean he was not a big man. So become a great nation by admiting truths

  • cudne ;o)
