You really need a way better quality mic for this sort of a test. You should probably measure the decibels iphones and other similar smart phone and ipods have free tools for this. But thank you for the video, its way better than all the other reviews ive seen for this device. I just wish you had the word review in your title or in a tag maybe. @AnnaJonas564 My laptop came with it built in. It's running a AMD A8 3500+ which is a 1.5ghz accelerated processing unit. I believe it's capable because of the APU. The laptop is awesome. Has 1.5ghz of dedicated video memory, and I keep it set at turbo so each core is 2.4ghz. Pretty outstanding gaming laptop for $500. If you don't know what an APU is, it's the processor and videocard built as one unit, so it boosts their performance significantly for a budget pricing.

@gdawgtuk You are wrong, TOTALLY WRONG. Dedicated video memory is 512mb. An APU is a hybrid of a CPU and a GPU. And each core is not 2.4x4 ( Quad core ) its all cores running at a 2.4ghz frequency you can't add them up because each core is not a CPU itself.

@PvMcris Well first let me address the dedicated card memory typing error I made. I meant to write GB because of course video memory, much like your computer's memory is measured in Megabytes and Gigabytes (and at one time Kilobytes). My laptop has 1.5GB of dedicated video memory despite your claims of 512mb. I put a link to the visual proof in the video description. All that was, was a spelling mistake.

@PvMcris I believe on mine the 6620G uses the shared memory and is used for low power consumption, while the dedicated card is an AMD Radeon HD 6470M with 1GB of dedicated memory. When enabling crossfire, it detects 1.5gb of dedicated so I am not sure if the 6620G has 512mb dedicated to it or not. Somehow though it detects an extra 512mb of dedicated video memory.

I got it off Newegg in October for around $500. Definitely not a bad deal for what it packs. I use KStat to keep the cores clocked at 2.4ghz for gaming and they tend to stay around 800-1250mhz in balanced without the use of Kstat and 800mhz each in powersaving. It plays SC2 pretty darn well so it's good with me! :D

They are one unit ("processor and videocard built as one unit"), instead of two (processor and Videocard), thus, a hybrid .

@PvMcris Yes a quad core 2.4ghz processor would suggest one 2.4ghz processor that can process data on four different levels simultaneously without losing performance. It's not combining the total to make one single 9.6ghz processor. At time's though, it's easier to say you have 9.6ghz of total processing power available to you, but that should not imply that it's actually how they function unless you strive to take the comment too literal.

I got a philips portable mp3 speaker and it runs on its power and dosnt drain the device's power. It uses three triple a batteries, and it's way cheaper to use rechargeble. Again, I'm not trying to make you sound stupid, it's just a heads up on cooler and better speakers. :)

I'd be lying if I said I love this thing, since it has the flaws you named off, but it's better than a lot of other speakers out there AND it's rechargeable and cordless. I've spent over $50 on cheapo "portable" speakers and cords which barely last a month, so this thing's the best thing I've found for my iPod and it was only $15, so score!

@Bullet7314 If I had to rate between 1 and 10 (10: Best, 1: worst) I would have to say it would be a 8/10. I personally use this with my iPad 2 and my iPhone to listen to podcasts while working on projects or watching netflix when I would normally not be able to hear the audio with what I am doing. For this, the bullet is a significant improvement and I have not been disappointed at all. The battery lasts surprisingly longer than what I would have imaged for a product that cost me $15 after tax.

@Bullet7314 (continued review) What flaws it does have is a pretty weak cord extension which started to get goofy and not want to retract properly after the first week. The other weakness in it I found was the "Bass Mode" doesn't really provide much more bass, as much as it just decreases the max db the product can hit while closed. When listening to dialog, the bass option makes it very hard to make out, so for me it is useless. All in all if that's the only flaws, then you have a winner.

@SadisAb3ast It is absolutely 100% worth buying. I use it on my iPad 2 when I play Netflix. My iphone 4 when I shower and play podcasts, etc. That laptop I used as an example has the best speakers of any laptop i've ever had, and at 50% volume the music bullet put the laptop to shame. One of my cars doesn't have a CD player so I actually use this to play Pandora off my phone when in the car and it works great for that too. You can open the sides up so it gets some very decent bass too.
