  • Curioso e bello allo stesso tempo...

  • I sang this with my group last year. The harmony is surprisingly easy, but what makes it difficult is the rhythm. It's notated in 4/4, but as you can tell from the video doesn't sound anything like that.

  • Soory, aber dieser Film gehört Ihnen nicht, sondern der inpetto filmproduktion. Von daher löschen Sie diesen Film wieder, oder ich wende mich direkt an youtube!

    Mit besten Grüßen

  • Ken was my teacher for about 2 semesters, and he seriously changed how I perceived music. Love, love his stuff. I feel like it's so much more than "contemporary classical," especially with his love of so many different styles of music.

  • waw

  • What a waste of talent...

  • @larbaud what a wast of ignorant words

  • @larbaud it may not be your cup of tea, which is fine, but it isn't a waste of talent!

  • What an extraordinary piece! Just beautiful!! Thanks for posting!

  • A cluster, a gaggle, a small bundle of great, golden angels....singing. (If you permit me to slightly over state.)

  • this is awesome because it has tone! Man, gotta love that tonal stuff

  • good song.

    I'm japanese,so even I became glad.

  • This music is not of my taste, but I did enjoy the performance. Most vocal ensembles stick to one particular genre, but this performance showcases how dynamic this group really is! Very enjoyable ensemble!

  • seeing these guys perform live and having a chance to talk to them was totally awesome. If anyonehas the chance...do it. I would qualify it as a once in a lifetime opportunity

  • very awesome music. good job!

  • my professor composed this!

  • @sighsofrelief

I would enjoy knowing a little about your experience as a student of his. Amazing music. What is the class?

  • I took a Contemporary Composition class from him at UC Berkeley in my last year of school. Very fun, challenging, and thought-provoking. He's great at building trust with students. Fun teacher, intensely intelligent. Definitely nerdy (though from pictures, you wouldn't think he was), which makes it all the better. We did things like...making found objects pieces, wrote pieces for instruments not usually written for solo pieces, made our own notation instruments.

  • @sighsofrelief

Interesting hearing about your professor. I would imagine he super enjoys hearing about what his students are doing with their basic talent along with the "seeding" he provideed. If you wish and not too laborious I would like to know about your found object instrument, your solo piece for unusual instrument and the nature of notation piece. mmmm maybe that is asking for a book.

  • I always imagined that there were at least 10 to 12 persons in the Ensemble..the fact that there are only four gentlemen, makes it even more amazing!!! Thanks very much for posting this video

  • Reminds me of the halo music..

  • wow, this is amazing!

  • Very cool piece!
