I thought this was a really underrated game, but I think there's something in this video I should point out. Maybe I misunderstood, but it sound like you thought you skipped the Feather of Feather Fall @6:05; you didn't. You skipped the Battle Axe of Agor. The Feather of Feather Fall is in the second forest.
BTW: how is it that this game, which was developed by a British company, feels like it lost something in translation? :)
@nintendoneil Maybe he thinks it's terrible because the game is glitchy and easy to abuse. It would explain why he still played it a lot when he was a kid. He still thinks the game is fun, but he thinks a bit more polish could have been added to the game.
I always watched someone place this when I was a kid but never played it myself. Now, watching you, you just flew through that like it was a joke. You make it look so easy. I am going to go watch the last 2 parts now. Thanks, nostalgia for sure here.

I approached the game trying to get every gem and every special item, but felt that the benefit did not warrant the time consuming irritation of it all. Plus, I didn't like the climbing up, up, up to get some far-flung item only to get knocked back down. Blech. But I sure wasted a lot of hours on this.
Sorry I didn't talk about anything interesting. Maybe I should have pointed out all the rocks and how awesome they are. A good 2 minute video focusing on nothing but rocks? Would that be something you might enjoy? What if there was a rock face that looked like a funny face...maybe a butt? Now THAT'S entertainment!

I wouldn't consider using the Boots of Force to open chests or fight enemies cheating. I think that's what they were designed to do.
