...its not just about catching fish.....cam-on-a-stick..just yesterday I was thinking of having a camera hanging from balloon, your idea is a lot easier, wwit...nice beach to launch, is that typical surf? The pose at the start, "you got something to say? guess not "....the cam makes the yaks look narrow...
@okbye1 A balloon could work... or a kite? The surf can be bigger here but that was definitely a good day. I like using the bamboo pole because it's stable.
Palos Verdes is a beautiful and relaxing location to go fishing. Despite its beauty, it is important to note that there are several contaminated fish in this area. To learn about fish contamination off the Palos Verdes Shelf and how to protect your health, check out FCECvideos or pvsfish.org
Thanks for the tip, Phil! We always secure our gear when launching or returning to shore. Lessons we learned from kayak diving. If it isn't tied down... it's gone!
does the guy in the yellow kayak put his rod inside the kayak for the surf launch? I have fished there recently and caught 9 calico bass and one was 21" 7lbs. Use swimbaits and jig em in the kelp.
nice kelp beds. Where did you launch from? Rat Beach?
