No, I've been playing madden 08 for 4 months and there's no lighbulb or smart qb. Maybe cause I use a Wii. What kicks ass is playing historic teams with current teams, like right now I'm beating my old fav team, the 72 Raiders, 28-17 with the current Saints team- i have bush starting. Also beat AFL's hall of fame with Saints, about 30-14. Now that's entertainment. I just don't know why the announcers don't use the old team's players names.... that sucks.

Its kinda stupid that they show you when the other team is reading the play. YOu can just call timeout and then they can't use it the next time. And it takes forever to fill up the bulb the most i ever did it was twice with hassleback.

i dont understand what they mean when they say "no use running the clock, the player can ONLY read it once per down." .. Once per down is a lot! and wouldn't running the clock only help them because it would give more time to fill the bulb? please dont tell me im a dumb @#$ just answer my question. thanks

1 terrible thing bout this game is that there are no SMART ROUTES, so basically if u have a 3rd and 10 and a route is set to only go 6 then you gotta get 4 YAC, it makes it alot more challenging but its stupid

yes, they have weapons on PS2, my cuz has it for PS2 i have it for 360. They dont have Spec. Catch Recievers b/c it's a 360/PS3 Madden Attribute....no PS2, PS3 u only get Hands Reciever

HORRIBLE IDEA, AWFUL FEATURE. This will make Madden a nightmare to play against people and will lead to exploits exploits exploits no huddle exploit limited pauses, limited timeouts... throwing the controller in frustration.

We'll have to wait at least 365 days before they remove this feature and realize it was a horrible idea. Thanks EA for adding this infuriating feature and being the only NFL licensed game.
