they were double teaming laettner but they let him get wide open, they werent guarding the inbound pass so their were 4 offensive guys and 5 defensive guys cause grant hill was inbounding the ball, they should have guarded the pass

The problem was Pitino told Pelphrey not to foul in the huddle. So instead of guarding him, if you watch the replay you seem him back off of him so he doesn't foul. Pitino totally fucked that play up. No way in hell that play happens today. A) Don't let the inbounder get a clear throw. B) Put someone in front of Laettner so you can tip the pass away and run out the clock.

While Gus is normally the man, his call of the end of Gonzaga-UCLA was wretched. Excitement is one thing, but his overexcited screeching and wretching was a little too over the top for me and ruined was should have been a great CBB moment for viewers of this game.
