  • I had such crush on Gary growing up, especially after this episode because of that outfit.

  • Poor Allison! ):

  • Sardo is so delightfully bumbling

  • I find that Richard Dumont plays in alot of episodes of ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK? like I remember he was in the DOOR UNLOCKED and I think some other ones too.

  • tough making friends even if u werent the new kid

  • I love being a 90s kid. This are shows they should bring back!

  • Its great that even though they aren't friends, they still seem to get on great. The new Midnight Society didn't behave as though they were friends.

  • sardo is F funny lmfao xD umm he looks gay too god love this character

  • Does Sardo say this line all the time but I'm losing on the deal

  • @loveingGTA yeah he does and "that's SarDO, no Mr. acent on the DO"

  • Nothing good ever comes from Sardo's shop.....EVER!!!

  • i bet gary does some many hallucinogens

  • I used to watch the old Adam West Batman when it was in reruns as a kid. I can't believe I'm just now realizing that was Frank Gorshin a.k.a. The Riddler.

  • She should've tried: Klaatu barada nikto.

Great episode, but I just had to make the "Evil Dead" joke.

    FX

  • Yeah. Way to Go Classic Slime. Sound wasnt great this episode though.

  • i would like to take the time to thank classic slime for so many episodes of ayaotd this has always been one of my favorite shows since i was little and thanks to you im still enjoying it

  • @number1nurhearts Yes I agree with you. Thanks Mr ClassicSlime!

  • he looks so good at 2:11

  • @17purplequeen Damn sexy.

  • This has probably already been stated, But...... Brother septamus is the riddler from the 60's live action batman. ha ha. Anyways, This episode rules, It always was at least for me mystifying. Damn good episode, They need to bring this damn show back. Get rid of Go, Diego, Go Or some other bullshit for it.

  • God i love are you afraid of the dark, bring it back!!

  • @mistadiscovery good god, I can see it now, Zac Efron pouting at the camp fire

  • I just realized that the majority of these episodes involve someone moving into a new house, being the new kid, and then being in a shitty situation.

  • ive seen this girl in two other episodes

  • @charmed8989 I know of her in this one, Obviously. Plus, The tale of badge... What other ones is she in other than those two?

  • another sardo episode? *ugh*

  • @charmed8989 you dont love him?

  • @Y99011 no way jose! he is annoying

  • @charmed8989 I'll find you.

  • HOLY CRAP THE RIDDLER!!!

  • 2:45, Isn't this the same house feachered on "The Tale of the Night Nurse"? (Season 7, episode 13).

  • Very cool episode, I remember watching it on tv when I was little.

  • Has anyone ever pronounced Sardo's name right the first time?

  • God Sardo is in sooo many episodes

  • @tiggerlover41 He's actually only in three or four episodes, not as many as I would've thought considering it seems like he's on all the time. The same episodes aired a lot, which probably made us all think he was on more often.

  • This is madness. No you got it wrong...this is sparta!

  • That chick is a botch she just wants to be nice nd have friends she needs her ass kicked big time

  • 4:38 "Pogo that clown?" is that what he said? If so the characters live next to a serial killer!

  • Is that the same girl from The Tale of Badge?

  • @leaveschangeincolor Yes it is. Aidan Pendleton is her name. You can thank imdb for that.

  • @leaveschangeincolor Yes, Yes it is. She is indeed in "The tale of badge"

  • $50? hes getting more expensive since last time

  • I was looking for another episode without sardo and then I find this one :| lol

  • That looks like Scarlett Johanson

  • 33rd episode. Egyptian capstone? Eye of isis on it? Check up freemasonary! This shit is loaded y'all o.O =p

  • @squick1842 whats Freemasonry have to do with this show? Please do not tell me you are saying it is evil. I'd have to get angry lol. My husband is a Mason and I am Eastern Star so its a touchy subject lol.

  • that guy is so cool lol but im loseing on the dell X3

  • I think it's funny that there are like 10 total actors who are in every episode.

  • that girl at the door was such a BITCH! I felt so bad for allison

  • Gary has no lips..ha

  • Dumb girl tells creepy Sardo where she lives, not smart!

  • MAN, THIS DUDE ALWAYS LIES TO THESE LIL KIDS ! HAHAHAHA,

  • man for a kid's show, it's had some pretty impressive guest stars; Frank Gorshin, Gilbert Gottfried, Mia Kirshner, Melissa Joan Hart. Cool stuff

  • @adamtherock2008 and jay baruchel, never forget jay <3

  • hey its frank gorshin, the original riddler!

  • The stone has the eye of Horus and the last word in the "incantation" is "Ra," the name of the Egyptian sun god. If I didn't know better, I would think the writers of this show would know what they were doing lol.

  • Getting a bit sick of the Sourdough bit with the classic "but I'm losing on the deal"

  • @mustkilllois21 you mean sardo?

  • Its funny how a lot of these episodes open with a character just moving in.

  • @GSPatton89 I think it's funny how all the kids have no problem with breaking and entering. LOL

  • Who plays Sardo please share thanks

  • @StraightEdgeReviews Richard Dumont.

  • @Notokayipromise Thanks!!! been bugging me lol

  • Never noticed till now, but that blonde chick from the beginning is from Reba, where she plays Reba's oldest daughter Cheyenne

  • "but I'm losing on the deal" lo, sardo says that like every episode haha

  • @RENTluver06 lol, he also always says : "have you tried out vomit"? n almost every episode.

  • sar-DO no mr, Accent on the DO :D:D:D:D

;) xx hes epic LOOL XDD

    >< xx

  • sar-DO no mr, Accent on the DO :D:D:D:D

    ;) xx

  • That's her out of Andre she's the older sister lol

  • That last part, where one guy had his hand over the other guy's mouth and mimicked his voice, I still remember it from years ago!

  • Why does Sardo remind me of Dr. Insano?

  • @crockris He reminds me of Spagett from Tim and Eric.

  • wow at 1:29-2:36 Garry looks like Harry Potter.

  • 6:29 theres an indent on his thumb... where he was holding the stone lol... Just thought it was interesting :I

  • with the Eye of Horus/Osiris on it. I didn't realize it til now. The Baphomet is EVERYWHERE.....

  • wow, sardo really sold something at $3.50, he didnt try to sell it for 50? What is the world coming to??? :O

  • they re-use people so often...lol I never noticed as a child. I definitely notice now.

  • you know episodes like this remind me way too much of the twilight zone from the 60's. I remeber an episode alot like this in which a guy goes back in time to the night of lincolns assassination and tries to prevent in it only to be foiled by john wilks booth.... go check out the twilight zone and tales from the crypt. AYAOTD is decent to good at times. Sometimes somewhat great. But for the most part it was mediocre acting wise. Twilight zone had it all...

  • You'd think after all those times that Sardo was "losing on the deal," he'd be out of business.

  • @ThatOneRaven

Oh I'm sure he's not losing anything the little weasel, what I wonder is who the hell keeps selling him dangerous objects of magic in bulk? The only possible explanation I come up with is there's just some dark wizard somewhere who keeps enchanting things and slipping them into the crates of tacky crap bound for Sardo's shop, and he does this for the lulz. He's just sitting there in his tower watching through his palantír giggling at the results while he eats his dinner.

  • @AmazingL4rry in reality, he's not. But every time he makes a deal with someone, he's like "(insert amount here), but I'm losing on the deal!"

  • nice to see Sardo's business is still booming in season 3. lol

  • Sardo always has the oblivion tool, genie box and carved stones which all come from ancient lands.

  • This episode...not really one of my favorites, as the acting of both kids feel forced somehow, but that's my opinion. And maybe giving a little more depth to Ron...seriously, why WOULD he hang out with those snobs if he wasn't like that?

But Maple Lane...that's where I lived as a kid. :)

  • wtf is up that girl's ass? "Forget this! Get a life!"

  • When I was a kid I used say "...oh alrite. but Im loosing on the deal". Thought I was awfully clever. Sardo 4 life.

  • The Sardo stories were always the same story told over and over again.

  • @HouseandCuddyforever Item stories are generally the same over again on general gist. Need something -> Buy it -> something bad happens -> fix what happens -> end.

Without the first couple steps, they wouldn't get the item. Without the middle step, there would be no climax or obstacle to overcome. The last step is a give-in. And the "fixing" step is the resolution.

Would you rather have it where it begins in the middle, not explaining how they got the item or into trouble to begin with?

  • @onijester56 I would have rather them had come up with something new.

  • @HouseandCuddyforever What part of the explanation did you not get? Sardo sells items. Hence they begin with Sardo selling items.

The items lead to something "bad", which they need to solve and fix. That it the plot of every item-based tale.

And the end CAN BE one of only a few things. Of which they HAVE demonstrated each type.

Your problem is comparable to wanting to watch a horror movie but renting Beowulf.

  • @onijester56 @onijester56 I don't know what the hell your problem is, but all I was saying is that the Sardo episodes were the same thing over and over again and they needed to think of more original episodes, like other episodes, such as The Tale of the Shiny Red Bicycle. I know what a beginning, middle, and conclusion is. I have seen every episode of Are You Afraid Of The Dark? I am comparing the Sardo episodes with the series.

  • @HouseandCuddyforever My "problem" is that you are asking for a different layout to stories that have the same layout.

Sardo sells the item, that HAS TO HAPPEN in the majority (there are some he just appears as a minor character, and some he doesn't really sell the item).

The Item causes some "bad". That HAS TO HAPPEN in the majority. And in some the item DOES help, as in this where they escape the bad guy.

You are looking too vaguely at the stories and I am telling you to not.

  • @onijester56 I can't believe you are crazily arguing with me about my opinion on a show that has been off the air for more than ten years.

    Goodbye, get a life.

  • @HouseandCuddyforever Isn't House just a show where a sarcastic doctor tells everyone they are wrong until one of them is right and he figures out the illness by the end of every show using half the old plots from another show called ER? Who cares what your opinion of Sardo is, you knew what you were starting opening your big mouth. Get a social life so someone can put you in your place face to face. Quit hiding behind your computer you coward.

  • @dyczer1 Why you are replying to all my posts on different videos? Got too much time on your hands? Last reply to you ever, loser.

  • omg sardo is like in every episode and he always gives someone something and then something bad happens but he is funny

  • He's totally making that up as he goes along.

  • "I just bought this from... I mean, um, I'VE SEARCHED THE WORLD OVER!"

Hahahaha! Sardo rocks in so many ways.

  • @modchic720 Haha, He is a quick talker and a swindler on these kids, But i highly doubt someone with a bit more age would fall for, But haha, Who knows. But srado rules, He is fuckin hilarious,

  • SarDOH is full of snot!

  • she sounds lik a man(:

  • o.o Wow. I actually have a good friend named Allison who looks very similar to the girl in this story.

  • do you always tell people where you live when you first meet them? haha

  • Man, Sardo seems like a full-blood amateur the way he tries to sell things.

  • love it :

  • Lmao Gary's an Anchor on the Weather Channel now xD

  • I don't like the Sardo stories, I do like Dr. Vink though

  • I Think R.L.Stines The Nightmare Room Was Better!

  • ahahah i love how Sardo always says "But i'm losing on the deal" ahah

  • This is one of my many favourite episode, this one was mainly because of Frank Gorshin is in it.

  • that sam girl was hot then and hot now

  • Sardo lies about everything he sells, strangely enough it always works and bites him in the ass lol

  • I like how he always goes way down in price :P we need a shop where he really sells shit like this

  • LMAO I know right, I wish I could have gotten a Wii or a PS3 like that.

  • @azurequincy isn't it strange even though he lies about the stuff he sells it works exactly how he said it even though he made it up lol

  • @azurequincy what i want to know is how he always knows what to say it is. i mean, sometimes people that sell the piece to him tell him stuff, and sometimes what he says is really vague, but sometimes he hits the nail on the head for what seems like no discernible reason whatsoever.

  • @danagrl52 lol Wish I had the answer to it, but it sure is funny lol

  • This is the first AYAOTD episode I've ever seen, like back in 1993 when I was 5 lol.
