This is not an app on my phone (nothing to install)... just a website I type into Mobile Internet Explorer to enjoy.
After 2 yrs Im still using this and with my iPod Touch I have yet to see a website that matches this simple interface - one created specifically for driving (effortless in changing channels). All iPhone web radio sites are clunky due to no flash on the iPhone and a considerable amount of mind share would be needed to change channels..taking your focus off the road!
Ummm with satellite radio you have to pay for the unit and then a monthly fee.
With this I just whip out my phone, load up this page in Internet Explorer on my phone and connect it to my car...to enjoy the 1,000 of FREE online stations that are available throughout the world.
HA HA Iphone still sucks! Windows Mobile Smartphone still the best. The only think Iphone is good is it's good looks... that all it is. Iphone don't have a real GPS but most Smartphone have it.
gotta love the buffer times... The only problem I have found with this setup is that AAC+ stations don't work with this. I have found a program that does, while not free it is low cost. RescoRadio, it will play AAC+, OGG, MP3 and others. I would give it a try, but I do just about the same thing on my Sprint PPC_6700.
How fast? Cause I have T-Mobile and I don't think it would be fast enough for a 128K stream. Maybe a 64K stream... I might move to verizon when the chance comes just so I can get tones I love wherever I want
It maybe Palm, but my point is that Iphone will be using AT&T 's slow Internet service, EDGE. With EDGE you wont be able to drive or walk around the city and enjoy streaming Internet Radio; not a solid 128Kbps stream. When it's start using HSDPA I'll be sure to make a website for mobile Safari.
The Iphone looks cool, but it cant provide me the 4 things I get with my EVDO Windows Mobile Treo( Internet browser, Phone, Ipod and Satellite Radio substitute via Internet Radio )
Thats awesome.. Im getting that 700wx soon.. And Im hooking it up through my sling box account! treo 700wx owns

My daughter's iPhone on EDGE is faster than my Q9H on 3G.
Safari is far superior to anything on the current SmartPhones or Blackberrys.

iPhone is elegant.... yet not a fan due to
1. poor battery life
2. No flash (windows mobile 6 will have flash)
3. No VOIP applications allowed
Excited for Android and iPhone competition that hopefully force the above issues off the table
