  • its a shame this was filmed with a sea slug

  • @TheHeathAus Yeah, I think I filmed it with a dinosaur phone. pre android.

  • very good and well kept

  • Nice. How much live rock is in there?

  • ...Is Finding Nemo your favorite movie?

  • did you film this with a calculator?

  • Love the lighting, can you let us know what unit you use? I have a 75g tank I am looking for a good lighting unit.

  • What is the half purple half green coral?

  • @shane21550 two toned frogspawn

  • @robcropper do you ever sell frags?

  • this is so amazing i want a tank like that

  • THAT MUSICIS KIND OF ADDICTING

  • Could somebody watch my video i would like to start a reef aquarium and need to know what i need you can see what i have in the video thanks

  • @MEGAFUCKNDETH

Sign yourself up to a reef tank forum and start reading.

Long run you will save much time, money and the death of coral. e.g. less mistakes and yes you will make them. We all do.

Even then, don't expect a tank like this. This guy knows what the hell he is doing.

I had a small 1 1/2 foot cubed coral only tank. Believe it or not it was less work than my freshwater tanks.

But to get there with that confidence you don't want to know how much time i put into reading

  • @MEGAFUCKNDETH

The reason i say don't expect it to look like his is because this is in the top league of tanks.

  • lol the plants are moving to the music

  • what lights are you using???

  • man thats a nice tank.the best as far as i can see.what do u think of mine?

  • can u edit the colors anymore? why don't u put one up of how it really looks to impress people?

  • Im not saying I would but hypotheticaly is it safe to eat the fish in this tank? Properly prepared of course.

  • Is that a Dussumieri Tang? The colors look wild!!! Love it!

  • ok my boy at least we gotsome pll out there doin it for real thank god i was bout to lose hope

  • best tank ive seen so far good job dude

  • Nice tank, but something has to be done about that god awful music.

  • Great tank. What are you using for flow?

  • How much did all this cost? Is it a lot of work? What if you want to go on a vacation? Is there a very strong current flowing through the tank?

  • Cool tank, not many fish though

  • @fishguy1974 In a reef tank, fish are not the most important aspect. It is just based on the reefers preferance. Sometimes when you overstock with fish, they will nibble on your corals. Just because of the competition for food when being fed.

  • beautiful

  • impressive tank!

  • how much was the bi-color frogspawn? it looks FIERCE

  • Wow thats really pretty how hard is it to maintain?

  • very colorful =) thats a big regal blue tang=) I have one and its so tiny lols i had it for 3 years also and it is still very very small. it also had been eating very well too lols.

  • I always learned that more then one species in a tank is a big no-no. But it seems to be working for you so props to ya!

  • 23 people are jealous

  • is that a rose bulb, or condy nem'?

  • Your tank is awesome, the colors are vast and beautiful. Really great variety to.

    Good job:D

  • yo broskie, this tank is gnarly and groovy.

  • I've never seen such a colorful reef tank. Do you mind if I share your video on a reef forum?

    reefcollege

  • LSD is just like this.

  • The back round music is absolutely terrible and retracts the from the attractiveness of your tank

  • awesome tank! would also like to know what song you were playing

  • VISITEN MI CANAL EN YOUTUBE LES DAREMOS INFORMACION DE PECES MARINOS!! SE LLAMA THEWONDERSOFWATER

  • The memo was meant to be memo or the at clown fish

  • Ok few questions.

First I love your tank in ever way possible it is amazing

Second how do you clean all the poo up if there is coral because I didn't think you could take the coral out

Third how much was that purple sea inenamy ( soz I don't know how to spell) that memo was playing in towards the begging.

Because I want to make tank salt water instead of fresh so I thought I should ask some one with a salt water like you.

O and one more question is it hard to maintain and how often do u clean

  • hey im new to reefing i love how you get back to peoples comments and was wondering what type of lighting chemicals and if you could name your corals mainly the medium to larger

  • real life reef zo amasing.

  • thats a really nice tank man

  • hi my dad is thinking of going saltwater so could you tell me what is more important having a canister filter and a wet dry filter or having a wet dry filter and a protein skimmer(it would only be temporary as he will buy the third in like a month) thanks

  • @mark2109111

Just get a good skimmer, filters aren't needed. My water stays perfect for weeks with just a skimmer.

  • @mark2109111

Just get a good skimmer, filters aren't needed. My water stays perfect for weeks with just a skimmer. That is, if you're using plenty of live rock and sand.

  • @mark2109111 I agree a good protein skimmer is what you need. Get a few good powerheads also. Make sure you get good flow.

  • @robcropper is 300 gallon enough for 2 lionfish,1 emperor tang and 2 pufferfish

  • @mark2109111 get the skimmer and the wet dry the wet dry is a large biological type filter the sooner you get the canister filter the better as it wil a help mix the watter and you can use it to polish the watter slightly better then the wet dry if posible wait till you can get all 3 together or just dont start filling with watter till you have the canister filter . get a Hydor Koralia Evolution or two will help a bit mkix the water initialy

  • @mark2109111 no wet dry... just live rock and a protein skimmer. once you get more advanced you will regret getting the wet dry because it will require more water changes then if you just use live rock.

  • WOW!!! 0_O fucking beautiful :D all those anemones should have costed allot or what?

  • I LOVE your tank <3

    F Hater's!

  • Love the tank....btw: nay sayers...these fish will live considerably longer away from predators & with an ample food supply...The tank is great. Wish I was brave enough for salt, but after 5 yrs of freshwater, I still don't have the guts!

  • @rainyseason1975

Go for it, it ain't that hard. I never had a large fw tank and started out with a 75 gall salt. I killed a few fish the first couple months but since then all is perfect. The key is to let it cycle a couple months with sand and rock. It's hard to have that kind of patienence though.

  • very pretty!

  • AWESOME!!!

  • Hey man beutiful tank what type of lighting are you useing ?

  • did you have temp problems in the beginning? im setting mine up and i have VHO's and its like 80 -82 degrees fahrenheit thanks for the input

  • Why do we always have to suffer the unsolicited presence of animal rights nuts in every reef tank post?,This is a video post for reef tank lovers, and for those who share the same passion, anybody else is waisting their time and will not change our hobby of choosing. Create your own website and go from there, we don't need your patronizing.

  • that is the nuts . Nice one

  • No, I'm not glad that these fish are in tanks. They can never replenish their population in a tank. In the ocean they can, repeatedly. The reason some fish are rare is because they have been captured for tanks. Fish in tanks can no longer serve their purpose on the coral reefs (such as eating algae) and that is another reason corals are in danger, suffocation. If any of your fish or corals are tank bred you should note that.

  • @konafishlover I'm betting all those fish excluding the Blue Tang and the corals were propagated

  • @konafishlover Also i've seen you on other reef tank vids you got a really stick up your ass.

  • @konafishlover

Ok and how do you think fish are sold? Most of them are bred in captivity. It is true that some are wild caught, but most are not. And they can and often do breed multiple times in a tank!

    Think before you talk!

  • @konafishlover you r stupid over 90% of the fish we have in our tanks are tank bred all my fish in my tank are and alot of others it is harder these days to get a wild cought fish than it is to get a captive bred and captive breds are cheaper so alot of people dont bt wild cought fish populations are depleating in the us becouse of hawaiis overfishing

  • @finger11yo its about 35% aquacultured at this point. most corals and fish are wild caught !!!!!

  • @procharged70cutlass ok then to get kona fishlover to shut up lets all buy some aqua cultered fish and or coral for aqua cultured fish i would by from live aquaria for corals i would buy from reef systems

  • @konafishlover clown fish in the wild live up to 3 years in tanks they live as much as 20

  • hey what species are the purple softies in the center called... and konafish...This is a soft coral tank and softie tanks are far better for reefs than other tanks because it they are more often aquacultured. I too am concerned for coral reefs and there are ways to keep a tank without harming reefs

  • @konafishlover, some species of fish and coral only still exist in captivity, so your welcome for not letting them die off because of pollution and other human factors.

Great Tank, love the set up

  • HEY , I NEED HELP I HAVE A 120 GAL. IM TRIYING TO SET IT UP , BUT I LIVE IN A BUILDING IN THE 10th floor , AND HONESTLY I DONR KNOW IF IS TO MUCH WEIGHT , AND I DONT WANT THE FLOOR TO CRACK AND BRING THE TANK DOWN TO THE 9th floor. THE BUILDING IS BASICLY NEW , IT WAS BUILD IN 2001 . THNAX !

  • Not cool. Coral reefs are being decimated by fish collectors for aquariums. Fish in tanks live much shorter lives than fish in the wild. In Hawaii many fish are so rare that they can only be seen in tanks as so many have been taken off of reefs that they are nearly gone.

Reef tanks mean destruction for the environment.

  • @konafishlover Shut up!

  • @konafishlover Arent you glad those fish are in tanks then?

  • omg i saw the same tank... in my dreams, spledid job dude, u have some happy fishes

  • Beautiful!

  • is that all live rock or do you use that instant reef stuff?

  • i LOVE the colors!

  • Fantastically!

  • omg thats amazing i wish i could do that even with all the money in the world i could never do that!

  • Loud stereo vibrations, not the best thing for fish.

  • that is a beautiful tank and i hope to achieve your greatness lol if i may ask do you think a cskim1200 would be pretty good on my 72 bow front seemed like a good skimmer

  • omg it's so so beautiful how much did you spend?????? tell me. where i get like yours? I am living in usa, thanks

  • Way too oversaturated. It's blinding

  • man this tank is awsome... i like the colors. looks more colorful than mine. I can see your clownfish is in Heaven!

  • truly amazing

  • is it in the wall??

  • The best looking reef tank i have ever seen!

  • How much does a set-up like yours cost ?

  • Beautiful tank. What's the music in this video? D: I like it. :P

  • Hello RobCropper, Can i ask you what T-5 bulbs you were using in this display of a beautiful Reef aquarium?

  • omg is this coral real!?

  • What is that purple anemone looking thing on 0:10 ??

  • way over saturated fix your white balance!

  • It's beautiful!!!

However, it is a flow of intense water.

  • What type of lights are you using?

  • thats soooo cool how the plants are also moving! Sweeeeet!

  • i think it a bit bigger than 75 gallons, looks like its at least 100 if not 110

  • what kind of lighting do you have on this tank?

  • good tunes as well, beautiful tank

  • it's beautiful, but what's the maintenence like for something like this? i've wanted one ever since i was a little girl but i've always been hesitant cause of how big the tank is, and how hard it would be for a little person to clean something like that. its absolutely breathtaking though i can't believe it. it's really something. what do you have going on in there?

  • amazing tank! what songs are playing in the background?

  • nice i my dad had a 500 gallon or something....and that wasn't as cool as that ( his didn't look like an animation) - thats pretty cool

  • sooo prettyy!

  • Is your bicolor frogspawn just one coral or is it two put together to get the green on one side and the pink on the other? If its just one coral, can you please advise me where you got it from? Also, what is the green hairy-looking coral in front of your rose bubble tip anemone called? Thanks.

  • without the flow the tank would die almost overnight the ocean is full of current without it water turns stagnant and nutrients arent evenly dispersed thru the tank i have 5500 gph flowing thru my 215

  • that frogspawn is incredible (if that is frogspawn)

  • Oh whoops wrong person with the tank lol good job to the person with the tank I meant! Lmfao! xD

  • @macruzjr well thanks for then info anyways, and keep doing whatever your doing because your tank looks INCREDIBLE!

  • OMG! I Found NEMO :D

  • Wow your reef tank setup is beautiful!! I'm hopefully getting a 55g reef tank in the summer... How much did everything cost you, if you don't mind answering? I would like to find out some expenses.

  • @And3rsonA05 all i can say is that the tank costs thousands and thousands of dollars but im a novice

  • just wondering if the fish can relax in this water flow, its seems they are having hard time moving around or they enjoy it?

  • @RottNBrain yes they usualy can sit in spots inside the rock where there is less current

  • can you give me the names of all of your corals, and invertebreas

  • complimenti!!!!!!!

  • love the bicoloured frogspawn.

  • What type of anemone are you showing at 2:55?

  • was that a hob skimmer? and no algae? wow, nice.
