I hope this art never dies! please keep it alive- music is the highest of the high, they did not accept music because it was used in bad places. But if used correctly it will take you straight to rabh! Music is the highest of the high as it calms and brings the mind to peace and it can connect you straight to god. Those who dont try will never have the true effect.

my best guess for the tuning is from the top strings down BBBBB BA or CCCCC CA# the scale from bridge to nut is 34" same as an indian sitar my best guess for string guage is .013

Amazing, I still remember the "KaleenBaf" and company used to play this. I personally attended few at qutubdin pora in srinagar long time back, seems like millions of years ago.

But i liked it so much today, going through the same feeling again...
