Funny how I thought 15 psi was too much 2 years ago, now that I own a dsm I know they can go more than that, if you dont upgrade the fuel system you will hit fuel cut around 18psi
one thing some of yous need to understand just because your making 20 psi of boost on a stock turbo doesnt mean that your pushin the same 20 psi on a different turbo...the term airflow mean to anyone?...to onequikdsm i see your runnin 35 psi...what turbo are you on to where you made 426 lb ft tq, fp black? 35r?
@crazy8sx08 each car makes different power levels on different setups. Seein as this is a 4 banger and made that power compared to a surpa, those are pretty nice numbers.
@crazy8sx08 and just another thing, every youtube dickhead can say "my buddies car, my girlfriends car, my grandmas car made this much power" its not about what people drive around you, but what you drive
For N/A motors, you shouldn't run past 15, personally i would max out at 12psi for a N/A motor with a turbo slapped on. however block like the 4g63 come from the factory built for boost. you can run higher than 15psi on a previous N/A motor if you use lower compression pistons.

u running that cunt on c16 or something? or methanol
charliemurphy69 3 months ago
You should really do some more reading on how turbos work. Just because you are at 40psi or more does not mean you need to be going a certain speed.

Lol, ur boost gauge is faulty. It bears no logical relation to both your speed or engine note. I suggest you get a new gauge then repost.

haha, kfcnuggets1, you fail. 4g63t has proven to hold ~500 horse on a stock block. supporting mods are obviously needed...but they are king

haha stock motor .....kfcnuggets1 you need to buy a clue. 15 psi is for Hondas.

No, the engine did not blow up. It was driven like that all summer.
