How to build a dog house in SketchUp

the blue axis doesnt appear....and only one side of the roof rises....help!!

make sure that the face is closed and the line you are trying to pull is connected to that face. I don't know about the blue axis, but you can try to lock in the blue axis by typing the up key.

I believe the other comments were referring to your house building application, not your screen capture application.

I am using a mac program called iShowU. It is a great program for screen captures. It is not too pricey either. Check it out!
