yes, i have muscle twitching in my shoulder/arm. Sometimes i'm not aware i'm doing it, but in public i think i'm more aware of it and i try not to do it, but sometimes i can't really control it. Also, i have the breathing thing where my breathing gets shallow or i'll hold my breath. Also, the shakey thing happens to my hands most of the time.
wow! i have kinda the same thing but is more when it comes to girls, i try to avoid them and when im in a situation to talk to them, i don't make eye contact and don't talk as much cause i tend to studder and my face twitches as well. I actually went to a psychologist and whe the conversation about girls came up, i kinda swayed away from it cause im ashamed of my incapacity to interact with them, so wat should i do???
thanks for posting this video & sharing your experience.. i too have same kind of problems.. muscle twitching is the most annoying thing.. To overcome this, you need to go for massaging which helps in relaxing the muscles.. Yoga offers few breathing technique that can help you to overcome anxiety.. And there is your mind.. Stop thinking negative, it will help in conditioning your brain..
THERE IS ONLY "ONE" WAY TO DEFEAT SOCIAL ANXIETY DISORDER FOR GOOD. ONE WAY ONLY: Exercise. Workouts. Whatever you can do to"settle" your mind, and your physical symptoms will follow. I know...I had S.A.D
I had extreme social anxiety.. it became crippling at times. I notice when i neglect my diet (healthy foods) and clean water along with spiritual upkeep(meditating and yoga) etc. I find it much more difficult to manage. Alot of mine also came from going into situations over and over that weren't good for me, large sums of people, loud places etc. I have ran the gamote on all the meds out there, and that seem to affirm that something was 'wrong' with me. I take one and learn each day new skills.k
i get physical anxiety symptoms like when i have a job interview or doctors appointment the next week the whole week before i will have it and be in the bathroom for a long time and i get it even when i dont go anywhere any ideas to help out
Hi, I have severe anxiety, some of my symptoms include; trembling, shaking hands, full body muscle twitches, headaches, sweating, flatulance, inability to swallow when needed, dry mouth, pounding heart, mood swings and depressive thoughts. Sometimes I feel alone, so I commend you for making this video, I am in the defense force and my anxiety was caused by that and has resulted in some difficulties with work and my social life. I take zoloft to help with the thoughts and work on different distr
I have an idea why your doctors might not have been able to diagnose your twitching. I had the same problem with my original doctors. I was later diagnosed with conversion disorder with motor symptoms. I'm not saying it is what you have, but it is something you should look into as a possibility.
I have social anxiety, but for some reason I'm fine with performances and presentations. I'm confident, I just don't really like to interact with people that I'm not familiar with. This includes people who I see EVERY DAY. Apparently I have moderate/marked social phobia.
School is definitely the worst place for anxiety luckily I don't have it that bad, I usually just have the blushes, sweating, dry throat and pounding heart. I do often get butterflies though. That sucks that you have twitches and shaky hands those seem to be horrible since they can make annoying even worse :(
I get anxious when someone is walking close to me too, i try to walk faster than everyone for this reason. Among many symptoms, one that you mentioned and i hate are tremors, i always try to hide my hands from people when i'm trembling. I was in an exposition once and i was holding the work with a girl and i thought i was "calmed" but in a moment she turns to me and whispers "You are trembling, calm down, take it easy", that was awful, i felt so exposed, ofc i tried to deny it. Take Care :-)
I didn't realize you have such intense reactions. You seem to have things pretty well together here on Youtube. It's really not that noticeable. If you hadn't told us about your social anxiety I would just think you're a bit shy.
