im curious as to what the logic behind labeling DMX and IEC power cables is, im sure it helps organization, but just seems like its more difficult. haha nice you parents finance your gear tho, its getting quite expensive.
@ledlightboy haha okayy, id suggest keeping track of your cables then haha, IEC and power cables are the same thing arent they haha. ah thats good buying your own stuff is good, you ever look on cragslist? great place to buy gear thats substantially better quality, and you can get some great deals
@ledlightboy hahaha thats a good one, haha why not the internet? i actually keep my dell pretty clean of viruses, windows 7s a little better, but ima try and get a macbook pro this summer, just easier for everything.
ohhh that lock i belive is the type on laptops so people cant steel it a kengton lock or something like that als try freestyler its a free dmx program you can use the dogle with it i belive
i wish they would come out with something like this for mac!

@546dj they do chauvet has a new mac version but american dj doesn't so chauvet show express has mac and martin and elation might but i don't know

@djsareawesome i need to cable them because i have lost 2 iec and then 1 power cable at 2 non paying gigs also it worked out well
my parents didn't pay for any of my gear they got that a few years back so i could take it to high school and use it for notes and homework

the lock thing is for a Kensington Lock so you can secure it to a table
