i have a 91 chevy 1500 with a 5.3 swap and looking at blowers. and not to sure what to get. thinking about a kenne bell. what do you think? there is not to much of a difference between a 4l60 and a 4l65 just a difference between a thrush washer and a roller bearing. at the sun shell. the 4l70 is the one to have.

I'd say skip a blower and go with spray if you're unable to afford the blower at the moment. there's a red '93 reg-cab shortbed in KC with a 5.3 swap going low 12s on a single stage of spray. I feel bad giving you this advice without any evidence of his pass, but I can't find it on here to save my life.

I have an 04 Silverado SS. I know SRTs and Lightnings are faster but they ain't shit in 4 inches of a midwest snowstorm shittin all over the road. Thats why I got an SS.. so I could still have a muscle truck in the winter. Also it isn't that hard to bump up the HP on a LS engine. Even if it put out 500 hp people would still be hot rodding them. The only thing Chevy fd up on these trucks is putting a 4L60 tranny in them.They should have bullet proofed it first or put the 4L80 in them.
