My dad and I made one, like this, but it was a stotz double barrel burner, we put the pipe in the top barrel and used a floor fan to move the air through it. We could turn the whole unit and point the heat where ever we wanted it. We heated our Radiator repair shop with it.
Nothing like the Mafia EPA telling people they can't do things on their own property - government making people live in oppression for our own "safety". Wonder why nobody has jobs...oh, ya, because you're not allowed to do anything constructive on your own property. If it isn't government regulated...it's "illegal". Sure you're "allowed" to live in preplanned communities with nice green grass yards, but don't even think about being creative or productive...if you are, then you're a "terrorist".
id trade my factory built shop wood stove for his one off anyday !!! and to those wondering / worried about shop fires... i paint cars with mine roarin away and my shop still stands, and every older shop in NC i been in either heats with wood, gas , or them turbine type heaters
Very nice garage you have. That would be great to have something like that. Would love to have a spot to work on my old '67 GrandPrix ... and that stove. Keep it nice and toasty for me.
so the fire is actusally heating up the pipes inside and the fan blows air thru the pipes and creates warm air right?....i wish i could built me something like this but a small one 2 heat a 2 car garage...i work on motorcycles so im afraid about the gas and oil in the garage with a fire in the same room.
im thinking about just buying one...to heat my garage, i allready have 80 gallon compressor and tig and mig welder running...i got a shit load of wood in the backyard and my neighbor is always chopping....how do garage fires happen, many say main causes are because of fireplaces
@rpeek I would think those tubes would also act as a radiator, More surface area to conduct heat. Looking at his shop im shure he could build the most badass anything any of us have ever seen
