@mvpage2424 #8 no, just a blow-by, his left foot was his pivot then put the ball down & took 2 steps before dunking. #3 maybe, but if that's a travel then every move ever made in the NBA is a travel.
Everyone seems to rag on this dude for being "boring", but you dont have to be cocky or hotshit to be an NBA player. Tim just goes out there every night and gets the shit done.
@jayjoetube14 arguable. nowitzki has had a lot of clutch moments himself, and he is still in his prime so we don't know what accomplishments the German will achieve.
The competition is too high today. All the teams are upgrading their lineups. Even the Big 3 would have a hard time getting their 8 rings... Even the mavs do get Howard.
And if you're a Mavs fan, what the hell are you doing here?
@feedul What makes Duncan better overall than Nowitzki is that he has had exceptional defense throughout his career. That's a whole another side of the game that Nowitzki far from excels at.
@LowGradeGame Forreal, Cuz all they care about is MONEY, greedy sob's.They aint human beings to look up to in a Sport. Tim Duncan is. Man if only Timmy was still in his prime. He would destroy everyone in the league today like he used to. Hes fucking old and is still better than allot of Pfs/C in the league.
and he still pushes himself like he has to make the team. Last week he went on some long ass run thats only for the younger players on the Spurs. Personally I'd like to see him rest those knees for next year's playoffs. ( If there is a playoffs ha)
@troyh2012 only boring to you because you haven't watched him. If you truly love basketball it's exciting to see someone execute skills with such preciseness.
@raymondscroggins69 haha, i'm not even a lebron fan; but at least he would be the least bit flashy while he loses. if you read what i said, i said duncan is one of the best. BUT he's also really boring to watch compared to stars like kobe (who is far better than duncan), d. rose, d. wade, shaq, dwight, etc.
@troyh2012 Hell yeah a PF isn't going to get as much open runs at the basket as a wing player. I know what your saying but I would rather have someone thats going to put the team in a better position to win. Duncan does that with his D, passing, and that off the bank shot he always does. Even though its more boring then a dunk, I've seen him put so many teams away with that shot. And Kobes my fav player but to say hes far better than duncan is just fuckin absurd. Hes better, but not by too much.
@raymondscroggins69 i think kobe is capable of putting them in a much better position to win then tim duncan. if it weren't for kobe, the lakers would not have made it to the finals seven times since he was drafted. when has tim duncan outscored an entire team after three quarters, or put up 12 three pointers in a game? or 81 in a game? kobe beats duncan in ppg, steals, assists, 3pt % (obviously), and ft %. duncan beats kobe in blocks and rebounds and barely anything in fg%.
@troyh2012 Dude? Did you not read my last comment? Kobe is my fav player, I try to play like him when i play because i am a PG(yes i know hes a SG). But if i was a PF or C, I would base my game off of Duncan. Dude in order to win in the West you have to have a somebody that is a force down low. Who's Kobe's fav player in the NBA? PAU GASOL! Wonder why? He puts the Lakers in a better spot to win whenever he plays good. Again Kobe is a better player! But he's not going to win it by himself.
@raymondscroggins69 bro, i wasn't responding to you saying that he was your favorite player, i was responding to you stating, "...but to say hes far better than duncan is just fuckin absurd." i was providing stats along with facts proving kobe is far better. and almost every championship caliber team needs a big man.
@raymondscroggins69 How does Kobe being your favorite player have anything to do with my stats proving that Kobe is a much better player then Tim Duncan? I was responding to you stating that "..but to say hes far better than duncan is just fuckin absurd. Hes better, but not by too much". Jordan on the Bulls had Rodman and Pippen, does two big men by his side that helped put the Bulls to a championship team. Does that mean that they're better than Jordan because they know how to play post?
Tim Duncan is the best basketball player ever! He is loyal to his team and does not make the news for non-positive things. He is a role model for all and best of all he has 4 rings.
@myidolisnf the #1 play was from one of the most exciting playoff games in history, and you're saying this is boring? Have you ever watched basketball?
I love the 3rd one - Shaq has no idea that Duncan is going for the reverse dunk, and so he just leaps onto the near side of the block to play help D and suddenly looks around like "Where the crap did Tim go"? And they lost that series in 5 games still, man Tim had no help in 2001 & 2002.
@crisoner Duncan is better than Kobe. Duncan has 4 rings, 3 finals mvp's & 2 league mvp's. Kobe has 5 rings but everyone knows on those first 3 he was just one of Shaq's supporting cast. Shaq was always the MVP in that 3-peat & Duncan has always been the leader of the spurs.
i really dont like him say what ever you want about me talking about him go ahead and tell me to leave the video if i dont like him but really not impressed by him greatest power forward in nba hist fuck no not even in the top 5 for me i really think he is over rated he's smart and has good post moves and is a good tream learder but i dont like him
I forgot that Duncan blocks shots too. He's one of the best big men in the history of basketball and will be a hall of famer someday. A class gentileman with no ego or arrogance and is praised by his teammates because of his plays and leadership. Give props to the Big Fundamental cause this is his last run as a basketball player and currently chasing for the 5th ring.
Great hustle plays by the Big Fundamental. Now that he is aging, we'll never see these type of plays like he did as a young star. Had a nice foot speed and dominating the games with scoring, rebounding, assist, and field goal percentage. I wish that we can turn back the clock and see him do this again.
Tim, the player, the winner, the twin tower, the spur, the champion, the teammate, the leader, the love for the game, the psychologist, the human being, the one of a kind
No. 8 was an obvious travel... you don't even need to watch the replay to realize it... he's like 6 foot 11, it's not like he's gonna get away (or should get away) with a 4th step from quick foot... How did the refs missed it is beyond me.
Great player though, one of the best of all times.
There is a reason why he is called Big Fundamental. He is a good player but these plays here are all fundamental plays. None of these plays wouldn't even make it to NBA's daily Top10. I would however say that he is probably the best modern PF. Of course Kevin Garnett can move and throw way smoother and better but Duncan just has winner written all over him. I know he's a big guy but I just don't like the way he moves. It all seem so stiff and technical... It's like he can't improvise or create.
Err.. I think you have the word "technical" confused brah.. Because being technical IS the best way to create and improvise.

I know... damn fisher, haha.. I think this and the 3 ptr he made in ot against phoenix in the 1st round '08 playoffs are his best moments of his career.
@togonumber No, this was the game with the Derek Fisher .4 sec. shot that broke every Spurs fan's heart lol The Robert Horry shot I think you're thinking about was against the Kings.
