im new to skiing and does any one know why some skiers do that weird thing where they put their hands in front of them and lean side to side and stuff. im assuming its a visual in their head of the coarse buti could be wrong
@Clemsonandcubsfan1 if youre talking about when racers prep for the race, theyre visualizing the course before they run it. you usually take an inspection run or two, get to know the terrain and then run it. its an interesting technique, but it really helps. you go over it in your head a ton, then when you run the course, its just muscle memory
