Well when your putting down 450RWHP Its pretty hard to get traction on street tires... Assuming you are a car guy as i am you would know that even having a TA WS6 which puts out around 300RWHP....
Well I have Proxes TR1's 275 in the rear and 235's in the front. With just a Borla exhaust on a A4 TA LS1 your probably putting down 300RWHP on a dyno jet. A4 Fbodies usually put down around 290RWHP stock. A4's put down less power than M6's do to more drivetrain loss so thats why you hook up better. My car is cammed with full boltons and Longtube headers with no cats with a ported tb intake ect. I am also Dyno tuned. I putting over a 150 more RWHP than you. Thats why my proxes melt at the track
Your probably around 317RWHP then... With a actual dyno tune you could see another 10 to 15 or so... If you got rid of the Ypipe and went with some actual Longtube Headers and a custom dual exhaust with a dyno tune you would see a gain of around 30RWHP from stock..
That was a close run with the GT and your GTO. My GT runs about 12.65 with some Lower Control Arms which stopped my wheel hop and improved my 60 ft times. So all in all i think my car and yours would have a good race. Cams dont really help S197 mustangs, soon ill get a 302ci and hopefully have a Kenne Bel Supercharger with 15+ boost =) I pulled 1.9 60's you need Lower Control Arms Badly.
My car has too much power for the shitty as Nexens Im running.... Before I did a Cam on my car I was running 12.7 with just LT's and tune on street tires but I had some real nice BFG's.... These tires are garbage... Like I was saying before I couldnt get a 60 better than a 2.6... When I race my buddy say from a 40 roll - 130 on the e-way I usually pull him by about 5 cars... but at the track we where pretty close do to traction.. I usually trap 6-7mph higher than him when we are on DR's....
When you pull 2.6 60's on street tires thats usually what you get mr. big time.... I also run 11's with DR's.... So whats your point their.... I highly doubt your shoe box is running low 11's with that motor you got...
