  • This was a GREAT renditon with the "Boys" at the top of there game!!!!!

  • You can see why Dee Allen was so slim - like Duane, his father, as a younger man.

  • This is by far the best recording of Perfect Love. Steve really had it all and touched so many hearts. Very sadly missed.

This recording should be released now - it would be a great hit, it's timeless.

  • I do also miss Singing Steve. He had a great spirit, great voice and a great person that touched my heart. A great man.

  • who's ANGIE?

  • suSURE DO MISS MY DEAR OLD FRIEND STEVE

  • anyone got that performance of Little Richard on crook and chase? I recorded it but lost the video take. i think it was in 1997 or 1996. Post it if so.

  • He gets better each time I hear this. I play it at least once a day.

  • Jeff..why does it matter to you? It seems you have some kind of vendetta or something with the Boys.. I remember u from the Oaks board..it's gettin' kinda old.

  • Duane,

    Why were YOU so skinny?

    Jeff Mitchell

  • I love the Oaks! Does anyone know what year this is from.

Steve Sanders was with the Oaks somthing in the year 1987 to 1995.

I can tell it has to be in the 90's, it looks like it to me.

  • I miss Steve, too.. and I miss that band, Fred, Skip, (i think that is B. James Lowrey back there) Only Ronnie remains... oh for the Good Old Days

  • sometimes i wish the oaks still had steve with them. It's sad that he's gone now.

  • hey there, great song, I am looking for a song I heard them sing in concert in Canada, it goes, all the gold in California, is hidden in a.... thank you

  • I think that, unless they did their own rendition of it, you are confusing them with the Gatlin Brothers, "All the Gold in California."

  • Thank you, so sorry, no wonder I could not find it. Still love the Oakridge boys but will check out the Gatlin Brothers for that tune. L.

  • where can i find that song ''i wish you would have turned my head and left my heart alone

  • I know its on the 20th Century Masters: The Millennium Collection: The Best Of The Oak Ridge Boys CD. I don't know where else. I have the CD.

  • The Oak Ridge Boys-Bobbie Sue.

  • Unholy Mullet!

  • This must have been a would be single when they were on the Capital lable for a brief time?

  • Great song with Steve on lead - I've been told they had recorded it for Liberty. The studio version will likely never be released, even on a box set.

  • This was recorded during that same time (I believe mid-1994), but was never released with Steve singing lead. It was finally released with Joe Bonsall singing lead in 1999 on their "Voices" release, with a slightly different arrangement.

  • I have to get a copy with Steve onthe lead.

Any body know where? Love this song.
