listening to plan b since i was a little yout has taught me at least one thing. he dont GIVE A FUCK if you lot think he sold out. hate him all the way to the bank and until he uses that bread to bring out some more rap tunes, then ur gonna be back on his dick. shut up.
It is easy to compare plan b and eminem if you like rap music, for instance: they are both white men in a black world and they are both great lyricalists but plan b will never bring out a club dancey self hatin pop tune and he is rappin about things closer to us which makes him one of the greatest
people say about this being the old plan b, it's the same plan b! he's bringing out a new album which is completely hip hop, and all you idiots saying he's sold out like chipmunk, you have no clue about music he just got DROPPED from his label because he's not singing on his next album, he's taking it back and doing hip hop, so he's bringing it out independently, he's making music he wants, he wanted to make soul music and he did, now he's back to rap he's gonna do a reggae one too at some point
@JamesRussellMusic Calm down. It's not actually that important, in fact nothing is important enough to justify that capital letter bullshit that you did.
You don't need to constantly fight his battles, all you do is make yourself look stupid. Especially with arguments like "all you idiots saying he's sold out like chipmunk, you have no clue about music".
@Omnilegence i know haha i reread this i was just pissed off, everyone gets pissed off, but i reread this a bit ago and thought jeeeez if i wasn't that person i'd think i was a bit silly, plus he didn't get dropped from his label they just didn't wana back his new rap album, so he's doing it independent, but he's still with that label, but it still applies that people on here are being stupid by saying he's sold out, he hasn't, he's doing music he wants to do, it's ballsy in my eyes, not easy
@JamesRussellMusic Granted it is unjustified to claim he is a sell out, only Ben Drew can actually say what he does or does not want to do. There are however suspicious factors to take into account, for example the huge increase in sales and popularity of his new releases or his well-expressed opinion that there is no shame in selling out. I'm not saying he's a sell out or making his music is easy, just pointing stuff out. Personally I don't like his new stuff, wasn't to my taste.
@Omnilegence yeah i get what you're saying, the soul/whatever it is album people we're talking about is more suited to a huge mainstream audience and the old stuff people love him for just isn't, that's why people get annoyed I think, I didn't really like it much either but i liked the fact he didn't just do a generic "sellout" album, to me all the big rappers do the same brand of pop and it's boring, he mixed it up a bit and put more creative energy into it than those do, in my opinion anyway
@JamesRussellMusic Agreed, the soul album wasn't terrible even if it wasn't exactly rapping a murder backwards :). If it is true that he will be releasing another rap album then I await with trepidation the content of such an marvel. Hoping for more 'Sick To Death' style songs with inventive lyricism, particularly structurally.
@JamesRussellMusic Agreed, to be honest he brought out one album which made him plenty of money to stand on his own two feet to bring out music he likes to make he had to do that to make a break, you cunts would do the same, get a grip if someone offered you 1000000 pound to sing you fuckin would give the guy a break.
sums up my feelings for a level physics right here :L
