For the majority of years of America's existence as a country, the majority of its men have been uncircumcised. You forgot to mention the practical role the foreskin has. I am referring to the gliding action: where the skin moves up and down over the head. Without this, sex is different. Why not describe circumcision the way it is? The baby is strapped into a circumstraint so he can't move. The foreskin is ripped from the glans. He's screaming in agony. That's all he can do.
