It needs to be looked at issue by issue, and most examples used especially against atheists are complete bullshit.

They use hitler and stalin over and over, yet there have been countless debates where that argument is torn apart in 30 seconds.

Most people are dumb. Even most atheists. Most atheists don't even really know what they truly think or why they think it.

Christian holidays and their figures are a great example of religious hypocrisy. Santa Claus? Naw, no way that guy could exist, but Jesus, that guy was totally real. A guy that hits every house in the world in 24hrs is straight out, but a guy that walks on water is cool. Let the kids believe in Santa until a certain age, but keep telling them the rest of the crazy mythical shit is reality. Same with the Easter Bunny.

@h85 Not true at all. Evid3nc3's video series has enlightened more Christians than all other (youtube) atheists I've heard combined. He even explains why that is in his opening video I believe. If they played his video series in all Christian churches across the US, I'd imagine upwards of 50% of all Christians would lose their faith then and there. He's rational, logical, and compelling. He speaks from a reference point every Christian can relate to. The series is a great watch.

However I agree with Adam, I see this message of intolerance to be against our cause. If we seek to gain a world without God we must enlighten the deluded ones not tell them to stfu and die. That does as much as their prayers. I'm an anti-theist and I understand how in-humane these beliefs are but violence won't solve shit. It will just show them we are as afraid of them as they are of us. IT's time we be the bigger ones and stay our hands. Let our voices do the persuading not our fists.
