It's true, we don't have a lot here qua products, but we don't have problems with eartquakes, tornados, etc. AND we can always ship and order stuff from abroad, because the Netherlands has a good air and sea traffic-system. :) Hope I cheered you up! @Unknown213546 You apparently haven't seen the many stores out there selling novelty items and gadgets. Brookstone and Sharper Image will have a ton of those "wow never thought of that" items. And then there are several other smaller chains or individual stores that will sell similar stuff.

Other places like Bass Pro Shop or ThinkGeek (online) easily get into the range of strange and interesting stuff.

Heck, if you are in any major city, you can find a Japanese shop easily. Just look around
