I disagree with the method of always rounding up when you have a 5 to the right. This introduces a consistent upward bias. I say that 5s are exactly halfway between and it would be better to round to the even: round 8.005 to 8.00, but round 8.015 to 8.02.

You mean round 8.015 to 8.01? I think that's what you meant to say because 8.005 to 8.00 is different than 8.015 to 8.02. Nice videos though!

That would depend on how much rounding we are to be doing.

8.015 rounded to the ones is 8 (because 0 is to the right of it).

8.015 rounded to the tenths is 8.0 (because 1 is to the right of it).

8.015 rounded to the hundredths is 8.02 (because the 5 with nothing following it says to round to the even digit).
