why do all punjabis forget that pakistan has very important share in punjabi culture all sufis like waris shah, baba fareed, mian muhammad, bulle shah including baba guru nanak were born at pakistan side of punjab plus all romantic tales like heer ranjha, sassi punoo etc are from pakistan side of punjab

Punjabi is the language of all Hindus, Sikhs and Muslims. It has nothing to do with religion and let us not mix the two. Enough damage has already been done by parties with vested interests. Let us work for the spread of Punjabi culture, music and language irrespective of religion & countries.
see how punjabis (sikhs and muslims) can live in harmony...the songs from both sides are represent us we are gems...hinduz have fukd everythin up between us they have succeed to grow hate between us n we dunt realize it WAKE UP ALL PUNJABIZ
A Punjabi is a punjabi whether from India or Pakistan. We in India love Pakistani singers like Musrat Nazir, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Attaullah and my all time favourit is Saiful Malook's poems sung by Sahbaz Qamar Fareedi. Long live Pakistani singers who are serving the cause of Punjabi music which has no boundaries.
LONG LIVE PARKASH KAUR & SURINDER KAUR WHO WERE POINEERS IN SINGING PUNJABI FOLK SONGS ON LAHORE RADIO STATION INSPITE OF RESERVATION BY THE THEN CONSERVATIVE SOCIETY ABOUT WOMEN SINGING ON RADIO STATION BUT THEY WENT AHEAD AND TODAY THEY CONTINUE TO BE LEGENDS IN PUNJABI FOLK MUSIC.
Today both Indian & Pakistani singers sing the same songs in same tunes and enjoy 'jhoom jhoom ke'. These are sung on all occasions and festivals in both the countries.
I am not a punjabi and most of the words I cannot understand (am from Karachi) but I enjoy it as much as a punjabi can. This folk song is as sweet as pure honey.
@guru4us2008 All Punjabis whether Indian, Pakistanis or those living in 150 countries of the world feel proud on hearing immortal Punjabi songs. Let us not mix the music with religions.
not only Sikhs but every Punjabi speaking is proud of such a poetry and singers

I am also a punjabi but from Pakistan and also proud to be a punjabi.
Our language and culture are so old and rich, that we should be proud of it and keep it alive.
Just listen to Hazara Singh Ramta to see how great this language is.
