  • i own this bike, but my doesn't have any speed limiter... explain me what limiter does this bike mount...

  • @magixeleven I don't understand what do you mean (explain me what limiter does this bike mount..) cause I don't know good english. sometimes the speed limiter goes off and I don't know how is this posible. then my bike has top speed 110 km/h. if the speed limiter is on the top speed is 80 km/h and I hear my bike do ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta. listen to the sound of the motor when I change the gears.

  • @billsiliogkas oh excuse mee! i'm not english, i'm from italy, and so i can't speak english so good :)

by the way, i have the same bike, but my doesn't have the speed limiter, my doesn't do da ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta, do you understand?

but i can reach a top speed of 100 km/h when in downhill, and 85 km/h in plain... have you done some modifications to the motor, or the air filter, or the exhaust?

i'm interested! thanks in advance mate! :)

  • @magixeleven I had only a dragon exhaust withoud db killer during the summer and now (during the winter) I coudn't start my bike (cold start) because we have -10 every morning. with the factory exhaust the cold start is very easy.

  • @billsiliogkas My speed limiter is in CDI and in the carburetor and the mechanics don't know how to fix it. in greece the speed limit for 125cc is 80 km/h. so thats why my bike has limiter.

  • @billsiliogkas aah okey, i got it!

now i explain myself why you have a limiter... but i don't know anything about that! where is the limiter mounted? and so is the limiter limiting the rpms of the motor?

and last question, did you have any problem with the modified exhaust? i can't find anything for this bike... i would like to give my bike a more custom sound, but i don't want problem with the italian laws... did you understand? and sorry for my english :)

  • @magixeleven imagine that the marauder has 10.000 rpms. in order to limit me in 80km/h with 5th gear it limits the revometer in 6.500 rpms. the limiter in the carburetor allows to the spark to give electricity in the piston until 6.500 rpms to all the gears. so I have top speed 80km/h and I have very slow acceleration. my moto is DEAD !!! as for the exhaust...if you don't want to have problems with the law, your factory exhaust is perfect. In Greece we pay fine to the police.

  • @billsiliogkas oh finally i found someone who can explain me good everything! sorry, but i'm only 17 and my marauder 125 is my first bike!

p.s.: here in italy also we pay fine to the police...!

thanks mate, you have solved all my doubts :) maybe we'll met somewhere, someday, with our bikes!

check out my channel, i do some videos also :)

    see ya :D

  • @magixeleven OK. I'm 21 and this is my second bike. but I will sell it because the motor is small. I will buy suzuki marauder 250cc and I will be like a king. cheap to the fuel, 28hp to the motor and 140 - 150km/h top speed. good enough for me. bye my friend!
