I too did exactly what you did and they blow up in my face, the TNT below isn't giving the top one enough power and it just blows up when it is too close.

It's probably because you put the water directly in the squares around the middle one, right? Giving you 8 squares of water. For all the others that have it blowing up in your faces as well, you have to put water underneath each of those raised blocks at the corners and have it flow into the middle, not put the water directly in the middle.

This doesn't work anymore, but the concept does. I just added another layer around the TNT and kept the basic shape the same, and voila! It works.

@CELANLEHOE there is only 1 mod to get materials. you can use the in game invedit mod or the invedit hack, they're the same thing except with the mod you can get the materials right away and for the hack you have to save and quit to get them
