1. I find ballroom solo's kinda bland since without a partner I'm left underwhelmed by them

2. My personal preferences are bias based on what I enjoy watching most so I didn't even really go through watching the ballroom solo's just to save myself some time and effort.

@laroca626 Yeah, I think people over look it a lot because it isn't really a high energy solo or over the top but that's probably what I like the most about it. Simple song, simple dancing (relatively speaking, not as in "easy"), and perfect execution. On top of that I think people tend to overlook Caitlin in general because she never really had a memorable routine (some would say bollywood or alien but that's debatable) but when it came to her solo's she was always on point.

@myyogooduserperson To say the least it was a pain. You don't realize how many solos there are until you sit down and watch them all. I first tried rating them on a scale 1-10, but had like 50 that I called 8's. Then I rated on a scale 1-100 still had too many picked, then ditched ballroom and some other great solos. Then had to pick the order. honestly I could remake the video everyday and probably come up with a different video every time.

@sobaika I liked a lot of the ballroom dancers but I've never really enjoyed their solos, at least not enough to put in my top 20. The female hip-hop dancers didn't ever impress me though. I obviously respect your opinion though and understand where you're coming from. If every person who watched this video made their own top 20 there'd probably be very few/none identical videos.

I loved watching these over, I forgot about some of the amazing solos. Still, a lot were missed and your top two were disappointing. Allison's Bitter solo should have been much higher up. Yeah i went back and watched the audition. You were right, sorry, Nigel did say a lack of connection. But I didn't remember him saying that, I remembered Adam saying "She is so this show." So when you said "judges" i was confused. Because it wasn't really the judges saying she had a lack of connection, it was Nigel. Mary said she had potential.

I wouldn't say rushed and frantic. More real and honest. When she danced (even her choreographed solos) you could tell she was dancing because she loved to dance. A lot of the female dancers were great at dancing, but it was obvious they were doing choreo (doesn't mean they weren't great solos). What I loved about Allisons solos is what you didn't, that they were "frantic". Different strokes for different folks but I get where you're coming from

Mollee had beautiful tricks, but I felt that's what her solo consisted of - running frantically and doing tricks. For me, it was too rushed and it felt like she was cramming everything she knew how to do into 60 seconds.
