Yes Barney is very pleased with his new kids. Notice how both parents use the food to stimulate the very young chicks. The chickadees also did this behaviour often in the first 2-3 days. They poke the food into the mouths and pull it back. They eventually give up the food to one of them of course. The goal is to have all the chicks active and strong with open mouths for food.

Absolutely amazing. Not all open and gaping wildly like cartoon versions.
This is the first time in a few vids since Barney has made an appearance. :-)
